Price for a brand new machine of it seems reasonable...........only to have its price blatantly increased further when added with shipping charges (due to nasty and corrupt customs agents we have here)

Apparently, this site mentions August 5 as the release date for Ripples.

Thanks to Z-I-V for the info.

I see.

Well in that case, I guess it's pretty consistent release time frame then. Neat and given how things work out, the Asian version release could arrive within Q1 of year 2010. Nice

There was a version being loctested in the UK under the name uBeat for a long while and I'm guessing it's the same as the US... *shrugs* It seemed popular though, always people playing it at Trocadero whenever I was there.

I think (though this likely means I'm wrong) there was an announcement that uBeat would not make it into the US. And that would almost definitely mean that a European release wouldn't be happening, knowing them.

Well with Ubeat's crappy song list, I'm gonna end up playing jubeat original songs (which make up most of level 9~10 songs) anyway.

Just want e-amusement though... playing without e-amuse sucks

2ch is still kind of in a fuss, as is usual on a release day. It appears either no one has listed the new konami originals or they are possibly the same as the location test...

however, there seems to be quite a delight at one of the surprise licenses, Hot Limit by High and Mighty Color. I think Hot Limit was already known as a song, but the artist was still unknown to this point.

Yup regarding Hot Limit (I just heard their version only a few weeks ago on youtube so yeah). Interesting though that there are so many versions of it though technically (TM Revolution has a version and there is even the "we drink ritalin" version that was made available in DDR 5th mix and DMX 2)

Anyways, this is an interesting development. Hopefully, the Asian version of this will be out in the next few months (though I expect Konami might make an announcement regarding this during the Jubeat Asian Championship finals later this month).

So there
