Maybe this will be a good serious for starters to get into bemani games because i think the IIDX machine looks too intimidating for n00bs to go play.

Sorry for the bump, but it's going to be at AOU 2008.

To anybody who is still confused on how the game works, there's a neat animated GIF showing off how to play.

Hmm... it seems you'll be able to hook several machines together and compete with people. Anyone who knows Japanese care to translate that page for us?

Just for update purpose, Jubeat has ended it's location testing. More pictures of the testing courtesy of Dlon9.

I've got to say, that honestly doesn't look very fun. Neither does IIDX or DDR when you're watching it for the first time, though, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

That definitely doesn't seem like something that would get a US release, though. It's very out-there as far as games go.

I might as well bump this thread now that it's been released in Japan. I guess this can be the official Jubeat thread.

Looks like this game has a high chance of being release in South Korea (this time with e-amusement installed there).

Feed from the Seoul location test was good.........so this may have a chance.

I wanna hear the Mutsuhiko Izumi songs & the 3 hidden songs.

How long before they'd release the OST?

Even better question. How would they port this to the home console? Would it be possible? I could see this being on the DS, but that'd be alittle too small, I think...
