Official UBeat thread [Location testing in UK Now!]

Konami announced today that they'll be bringing the franchise over for test in the US as "UBeat". The first test is slated to start on September 8th at Boomers in Irvine, CA.



This thread will be updated as more details arise.

Also i'm very excited about this. Though i will not be able to go to the test b/c i'm in NC and it's all the way across the country. I hope this test goes well and Konami decides to bring it over for officially. The cabnet for it cannot be that expensive. I mean most arcades, and even bars/pubs have those freakin "Megatouch" things, so hopefully, pending a successful test, we'll be able to get it here....in NC....where we are F'd in the A when it comes to anything bemani

agreed. I dont want the music from any of the DDR U.S. games on there, most of the covers are crap, or the song was crap to begin with.

i can't think of any reason this would have no american licenses and honestly them being there is a good thing because it helps the game succeed in the market

If this game becomes successful, hopefully they'll release it for DS. It would work perfectly, maybe it could be a simplified 3x3 grid instead of 4x4.
