Fever Time took me a lot of tries to do, and even then I didn't beat the score by a whole lot. Ironically, I did it with a "flat" note as opposed to a "round" note. For some reason it was just easier for me to read it that way (opposite of what I did for DMP2).

There were two missions I did kinda "cheat" on, though I'll just say I used my wits. Highway Star and Soloist, very difficult due to the speeds constantly shifting (favoring very slow speeds). And I suck at reading slow speeds.

So here's the options I had here:

1) Get good at reading slow speeds (not gonna happen)
2) Memorize the note chart (waste of time, screw that)
3) Put a video of the chart at a readable speed on my PSP (what I did).

Hated to do that, but still better than the actual cheating I've seen. And for some odd reason, I'm much better at 8K than I am 7K.

8K seems easier to me too, but my pinky never suffered such ab00st before. I'm having a hard time pressing chords that are 1-2-4, 1-3, reversed for right hand.

You've just taught me a way to pass those pesky wave missions. Thanks.

I think there was only one "wave" mission (Rave 2 Wave). That one's actually pretty easy if you can hold a fever, since that will stop the wave.

There's a few missions that use Blinker that are similar to that as well (Fever causes the Blinking to stop). I think those ones were accuracy missions though.

As for using videos though, that ready note really makes it easy to sync things up, so at least it finally came in handy XD

I can also try to offer some tips for any of the other missions, though sadly I may be of little help since the game is heavily based on skill. I can say though, try to make the best use of your equips (Tech, Auto, Fever, Def Up).

No worries, I'm not so good with the PSP, but keyboard's my forte.

I'm just too darned lazy to play the missions since they take up so much time, yet doesn't unlock playcount unlocks (I want that Oblivion gear. @_@)

Recent fumbles. 99.9% Phantom of Sky, first try. I was so confident that I could've 100% it. XD

I don't even remember what my Son of Sun Hard Style 6B score was, but I've got another pic to post here.

I swear, I WILL get that Absolute Max, it's just a matter of time. Evidently it IS possible. And not quite as difficult as I thought it would be (granted I'm abusing Tech bonuses).

The very first legit DJMAX Grand Master I've seen, congratulations.

I'm actually more interested to know what exactly is the highest possible song ranking, because I'm very curious as to if there's a rank higher than SSS. I'm thinking SSS rank needs at least 99.5% and similarly, at least 99% of the song's maximum score (Which I based on no Fever + gears, which means 50 Combo Fever, 150 Combo Fever, 300 combo Fever and lastly 600 combo Fever.) I'm wondering if spoon would be willing to help me do a simple song but Fevering at earliest possible opportunities?

I think SSS rank is based solely on Score, since I've gotten it before with maybe a high 97%, and definitely in the 98% area.

Equips that reduce the number of notes to fill up the Fever bar definitely help. One other thing I noticed before, but I can't confirm it, is that I think one of the updates made it easier to hit SSS (or lowered the requirements for all the ranks in general).

I could test things using "normal" Feve though. I've got a long ways to go 'til LV99 (and a whole lotta play counts to rack up).

Nay I just want a test of you Absolute maxxing a song, just a low level one perhaps, but at least fevering before 50 combo, 150 combo, 300 combo, and 600 combo. Just to see what happens when you get the top accuracy and over/at the maximum available points.
