Welcome to the DJ MAX/EZ2DJ forums at Bemanistyle!
Whether you're here to check up on news on the latest games, or here to talk about how stupid hard it is to clear Son of Sun Long Version 6BFX, I hope you enjoy your time here.
Some things to keep in mind while posting:- Keep it on topic. (I won't mind if you go off-topic just a little bit, but pages of off-topic material deserve their own thread.)
- Try to make your posts meaningful. If you've got something to say, please back it up with reasons why, and do so in a tactful manner. Applies doubly to new threads. Oh, yeah, and speaking of new threads -- make sure your thread title describes the main point of the thread.
- Be coherent. Make sure your posts make sense.
- Please lurk for a while and read the threads before posting so that you know what's been said. For example, yes, we know the 'act like you know' in Shoreline is also a sample that's been posted by DJ Nero; yes, we know that the Handz Up video is trying to ape Electric Six. When in doubt, use the search form at the bottom of the page!
- Opinions, both negative and positive, are good -- as long as you keep it on topic.
- Good example: Man, BlythE HD is frickin' hard!
- Bad example: Man, [forum poster] is really bad at posting!
(This is a DJ MAX/EZ2DJ forum -- we're talking about DJ MAX and/or EZ2DJ and/or related games here, not about the quality of someone else's posts. If you really have an issue with someone and/or his posts, take it to PMs.) - Don't talk about pirating -- especially the games. Don't link ISOs or MP3s. If you need to link to music or video media, link on YouTube (unless it's a superplay/tatsujin - then you may link the usual gaggle of filesharing sites).
(Note: Talking about CFW isn't necessarily talking about pirating, nor is it implying that the person/s in question pirate; s/he is only a potential pirate. I like to think people here know how bad UMD lag can get on some games.) - Be prepared to back up any claims you make. This especially applies to outlandish claims such as "I own a Technika machine" or "I won the grand prize in a raffle!" -- please refrain from posting them unless you've got pictorial proof.
Take a look at the full list of guidelines
here, but these bullets are pretty much what I'm watching out for. Also, there are things that I haven't listed that may apply -- well, I guess what I'm trying to say here is, please don't look for any loopholes.
So, basically, follow
this guide (Flash link), with three exceptions:
- This is obviously Bemanistyle, not (an old version of) the Steam forums
- If a thread is older than two months old, do indeed create a fresh thread
- Please don't actually say "OMFG DJ MAX r0x0rz the big one111!" -- we know that, and that's why we're all here.
Thank you for reading, and enjoy your stay!
If you've got a question about the forum or these guidelines, please do PM me.

※ By posting in the forums, I'm going to assume that you've read this announcement. It'll always be at the top. It'll always be nagging 'read this before you post'. Even if someone's just been linking you straight to threads and you've never touched the forum root -- that's the only potentially valid excuse that I can think of! -- ignorance usually isn't a valid defense.
