Class Mode in Technika

First of all, let me start out by saying that I'm rather tired of waiting for the P-word thing to come out in the US. Soon, yeah, but not soon enough.

Second I'll admit I don't know how the class mode works in IIDX. What I have heard about it is that you play a predetermined 'set' of songs to get to a new 'class'.

So yeah, I had this pretty much stupid idea of jamming that system into technika. Eh, at least until Clat Prew comes out...


Below is a list of songs currently in Technika, and their 'class' I have classified:

9th kyu

Rules:
1) You must have proofpic(s).
2) To get a 'passing' grade for each class, you must have at at least an AAA or an SAB for each set.
S-2 points
A-1 point
B-0 points
You must have at least 3 points to get a passing grade.
Any song below B automatically fails you, even if you have two S's.
3)There are no restrictions for challenging classes. You do not have to be the preceding class to challenge one.
4) To challenge 6th dan, you must first be 5th dan. This is the only exception.
5) To challenge 7th dan, you can be anywhere except Korea/Hong Kong/China/Taiwan.

If you have any opinions on the song lists or think a song's too hard/too easy for a class (Son of Sun? In my 9th kyu?) just leave a reply, i'll check later.

Well 7th dan can't be done, because all 3 of those songs were removed from the International version Which sucks cause I like Mutu and Hard to Start. I wish I lived in korea

This doesn't exactly seem to be analogous with IIDX's class mode. I mean, 7th kyu in IIDX is like, beginner mode songs whereas here you start with 4s or 5s.

I like this idea. I might give it a go after my current goal of clearing Customizer.

It's a good idea in theory, but you might want to actually try playing IIDX/DDR class mode.

This, plus the fact that IIDX's class mode dictates that the bar keep on running through the entire set (e.g. not refresh at full every time you begin a new song). Unfortunately, Technika does not allow for the setup of custom courses yet (otherwise, it'd definitely be possible a la IIDX US - using custom courses in lieu of implementing class mode).

So, it's like, grind something until you S it (independent of the other two songs, natch) then repeat - and sometimes on songs that can only be accessed in Technical courses regardless of PlatCrew accessibility, like Keys to the World or First Kiss TP - then take a picture? I know that's probably not quite not what you intended, but...

Yeah 7th kyu is the most basic of basic charts in the game.

Not to mention IIDX dans go from 7-kyu to 10-dan and Kaiden after that.

I was aware of this, and the fact that no one would play Electro EP only for YOM TP (nor costal tempo TP)...
But this was the best I could come up with, due to the fact that we can't unlock songs on pop yet.
Like you said - good in theory, but eh....

And you don't need to S it, just A through the three songs. Still the same shit tho xD
