Croove's Minus Series

Minus 1 = ez2dj

Minus 2 = ez2dj

Minus 3 = DJMax

Minus 4 = C9












Minus 5 = o2jam?

not sure if it's actually Croove's Minus 5 though
it's supposed to be released on oct 29th

not kinda surprising since Croove already had an o2jam song before (DIEOXIN).

And I don't consider -4 one of the minus series, as it's more aimed at the game than the music, so it had to be something like that, intense and...not electric.

DIEOXIN wasn't an O2Jam song per-se. O2Jam had a contract with Amuseworld and included several Ez2dj songs like DIEOXIN, Stay, Combination, Catch The Flow, Envy Mask and interestingly enough -1, etc. They got removed pretty early on in the game's lifespan, unfortunately.

I didn't listen to -4 yet, but Croove has been pretty bad overall lately, especially in Djmax Clazziquai/Black Square, and -3 wasn't that good either.

I've not listened to anything but Minus 3 -- which I thought to be the DJ Max equivalent of MAX300 both in difficulty and in sound.

Croove did not have any new songs in CE (JBG, Sunny Side -- both were in DMO).
(As for Black Square, I think Desperado was okay, but I find Sweet Shining Shooting Star to be hella good.)

ok, so he only has two new songs, I had a few other songs confused between composers.
Anyways, Sweet Shining Shooting Star was fine, but Desperado wasn't that good really.

I used to dislike SSSS, but it grew on me after using it in Customizer so much, but it's pretty good now. I also like Sunny Side quite a bit.

It's something called a drum mode.

from what I heard I think you are only allowed to use Left&Right Shift and the Space bar.

Heh, it would be really tough for a notechart designer to come up with a challenging (yet playable) 3K chart.
