What's wrong with Desperado?

Monophonic electronic funk, kgo.

Nothing at all, it's one of my favorite BS songs, and I'm glad it's going to show up in Technika.

And wow, listening to Minus 2, that was probably one of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life. Croove, how could you let the fans down?

Nothing is "wrong" with it, but it's a below average song in my opinion, if you compare it to some of Croove's older songs...there is no comparison.
Even with that said it's still one of better songs in BS/CE for only one reason, most of the other songs are below below average.

@ThatsGobbles: please tell me that was a joke about minus 2...right?

I dunno, I feel the biggest crippling factor for recent DJMAX stuff is the fact they're prioritizing an arcade feel, which means 1:30-2min cuts rather than 2:30-3:30 which is the norm for PC-based music games.

Having your available time cut by 1/3 really neuters a lot of songs which could have developed a lot more. Case in point being Keys to the World vs its extended version (Of which I hope, hope hope hope hope its existence hints to the fact that other tracks may have 2min+ cuts implying a continuation of the PC portion of the franchise was/is in the cards. Despite how shit went down this year.)

Not kidding. I definitely think Croove got better as he composed, because all of his Metro Project stuff is top-notch, but his old work (what I've heard) is pretty bad.

Minus 3 was also pretty bad as well.

But all he did in the metro project was the same two songs, Desperado and SSSS.
But his songs in Djmax online were much better than now.

I likewise agree with ThatsGobbles; I'm not actually sure what anyone can see in Minus 2, it's really all over the place. There seems to be no actual composition nor any real progression; and if there is any progression it leads nowhere. It also seems as though it weren't mastered properly.

Minus 3, at least, brings itself down, then rises back up for its climax, and seems to have a more balanced composition, so I prefer it. And I haven't heard anything else, so I can't speak for those.

unlike trance/techno fans who really take their breakdowns/climaxes(or some shit, dunno wth they call those) seriously, I'm rather more primitive; if i like it, i listen. if i don't, i delete.
So yeah, I personally like minus 2 better.

But Gobbles was right on minus 3; it quite sucked.

So my point is, does anyone know where i can listen to minus 4?
