PM Studios has officially announced their upcoming PlayStation Portable title DJ Max Fever. Not many people are aware of it but DJ Max is a title that truly inspired the music game genre all over the globe. The title has been a hit sensation not only in China and Japan, but in the United States as well. I think I'll be buying a psp game again for a change - I've imported the previous Portable games (before the mighty Pandora discoverage which I'm fully taking advantage of *grin* - this one needs to be in my collection.)

You and I are in the same boat, I'm going to buy this at launch regardless of inclusions/exclusions from either of the 2 portable titles. The worst thing that could happen is I'm buying a Western version of a game I already own, but I did this with Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker

Wait so is it coming to the US... like... I can get it at GameStop... as in ... I can reserve it... AT GAMESTOP!!??

That'd be perfect... I hope they did something to help fix loading times....

I hope this does good in the US... I think it'll do some what better than IIDX did though for a few reasons...

1... different types of music up front..... 2... anime up front.... 3...The learning curve seems just a bit easier... and there are more reasons but yeah... if they market it right it should do just fine....

Was it coiming to the US or will it just have ENGLISH option for US players like DJMP2 did?

Getting a PSP S&L will help your loading times. But I'll be buying it and ripping it to my memory stick just to fix those.

Hsanrb: yea I hope they're adding in new stuff - like the 50+ new songs they've promised :p. They better put in that Play the Future song, it's frickin' amazing.

I'd still import the first 2, because it FEVER didn't say it would have some features available in 2.
Such as Link Disk Mode.
But then again, Fever said it would have songs from both.
But if your like me, I would try to get all available games.

So I guess they're officially gonna sell it stateside then?

If I remember, version 1 had an International Version.......but versions 1 & 2 NEVER had a US version I think.

Just Korean versions that had full English language text.

Well for me, it doesn't matter. As long as it is English (and not Korean Hanggul-only), then I'm fine with that.

I've never even played the game, but now I'm excited to try it! What sort of genres can I expect because all I've seen on youtube is JPOP and the like.
