sorry for being a critic at the wrong place, but putting a white stroke (or similar styles if you aren't using photoshop) around the text should help make it more readable.

So any specific rules for the "team" setup here. Like do we both play each song at the same time, or do we pick who plays which songs in the set, or ?

At least i'll get my bus+subway fare back if/when we win...

Yeah, hate to burst the bubble, but that first flyer is fucking ugly.

Baldfalk's is much better, and looks a lot cleaner and more "official" too.

Use as you want, I guess. I just googled for "New York night skyline" and the exact same image popped up as the first image hit. A few more minutes with google image search and Paint Shop Pro (yes, I'm a rebel) produced the png. Text area intentionally left blank - I don't have a higher resolution image (again, I'm a rebel) but it should be sufficient for a decent sized flyer.

Although I personally loathe black flyers because I'm a cheapskate with ink. But that's just me. D:

GL with the tourney, even though there's a couple of mentions of how tiny the prizes are. Every community has to start somewhere though, I guess. ;P

This. It tickles both my inner spelling/grammar nazi and my inner minimalistic graphic designer, I love it!

Also, if less than 7 teams enter, you're totally losing money, just FYI.
