Well, I think I know why they set up four machines in one arcade in Thailand now-- I passed by there today wanting to play and stumbled upon a large Technika gathering-- or "meeting", as a sign put it.
It wasn't really a tournament, but just a lot of events involving Technical sets-- the one that stood out to me the most is where about two dozen people line up in front of two machines (a dozen to each), and they set it to play a Technical set with Fade In and Left Wipe mods set. Each person plays a single bar of a song, then breaks off to the right and runs to the back of the line to let the next person play the next bar, repeat until song finishes, team with the higher score wins. I didn't take part, but it looked like a lot of fun. They had to do Heartbeat after both teams failed out of Customizer due to the speed, haha.
Pretty much all the top Thailand Technika players were there from what I could tell, and the highest ones were helping to run the event clad in (I assume) custom made Technika T-shirts.
The staff of the arcade took pictures and video, and FiSHER said he'd upload whatever he gets from them.
