btw, based on the Technika's current song list, it seems that "House" genre is analogous to Beatmania's "Trance" genre in terms of numbers. In other words, Technika has lots of House songs like Beatmania has lots of Trance songs.

or am i just overlooking something else?

Lol, beatmania is too hardcore (they just dont want to acknowledge it). I wouldn't worry too much because House is a far superior genre

You know why I think platcrew is taking so long? It's because they're doing a wholly redone-from-the-ground-up version just for US so we don't feel so behind internationally I mean that only makes sense right right hahaha *tears welling from eyes*

Either way, I really need more practice on those things but most of the stuff out there that has this is too fast for me to me atm (like Colors of Sorrow and whatnot). Heck, it looks as if even Blythe posts problems for me.

I guess I really have to go back to basics on this one with slower and easier stuff like A.I..

Question: Are there songs in Lite mode that have chain notes??? (aside from the tutorial video) If there are, then maybe I can start from there again and just work my way up until I'm perfectly able to execute those things.

What do you think?

I used Miles and then later Coastal Tempo to learn about at least surviving chains so they won't completely fail me out of a song. As for doing them perfectly so that my combo won't break... still working on that. It's frustratingly stupid for me too-- chains on fast songs like Colors of Sorrow, Sin, and Blythe hardly give me any problems with combo breaks, but for slow songs like, uh... Miles again, breaks everywheeeeeeeeeere.

Also, I realize this is really bad timing for me to post this given everyone's current mood about Platinum Crew, but even if you learned everything there is to know about it from Spiritsnare's and MaestroX's websites, here's what it looks like on the machine.

Rule of thumb about drag notes : Always move slower than you think you should.

But then again, that doesn't always apply.
Listening to the original song and finding out what part each note plays always helps, too.

Hahaha, someone uploaded a Smoooch custom Technika chart three days after mine. But it's much better and fully finished. I'll admit defeat (since I probably wasn't going to finish mine anyway).
