Marketplace Rating: 0 | This game is AMAZING!
I had the opportunity to play it two days ago in our local Game Show that cames every year here in Rimini and I felt in love with it. The multitouch-screen is one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life and it's resolution is even higher than Konami's Original IIDX's Screen.
Song are really good and funny and also some videos are very great.
Unfortunatly I can't dream to see one of it here in Italy because it's too delicate and with the stupid people that we have here it will be ok for a week and after that it will be broken. -_- =(

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Yeah, the screen's pretty damn strong.
If anything, it's bound to get really grimy (ask basically everyone who played Technika at SVGL - someone got sick, played Technika while still sick, and basically spread the flu around, haha), but yeah, people are going to have a hard time breaking the screen.

P.S.
Btw
I hope the Hong Kong location test will still continue until April of this year as I hope to get to try this game out first-hand. Obviously, the online feature works there and I hope I can get to try those things out as well

I would however like to clean the touch screen sometime, but have no idea what to use. Supposedly it's glass on the front of the screen, so windex 'should' be okay, but i'm still worried about using it haha.
Cotty is out on business for the week, so no updated ver until at least Friday i'd guess. Damn wait is killing me lol.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | From the tests we've performed using a mystery solvent at SVGL (it's an unlabeled bottle that I don't know the contents of), it's fine to use Windex. Michael Yum himself used disinfectant wipes prior to the beginning of the AI tourney as he rebooted the machine (because it was dying just as the tournament was starting, haha).

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Well we've got what looks like the final build at 8otb now. There's some minor (mostly graphical) tweaks here and there, but we have yet to see any new songs in pop/technical modes. Do they need to be unlocked somehow, or does it involve an online update via network?
As for when we're getting the online functionality going, Chris doesn't really seem to know, probably won't be until after cabinets start shipping to other locations.

Hm, if you're in direct contact with Cotty, can you do me a favor and ask him when we at Sunnyvale Golfland are set to get ours?
@kay0ss- specifically concerning SVGL, "very very soon" from Michael Yum (last I talked with him).

Don't break the machine, guys- I'll be stopping in with the wife tomorrow. Hopefully she'll be intrigued enough by the game to let me play for one... or two... or six... hours.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Me and a friend went through the entire updated build this weekend, and have yet to find anything new song-wise in Pop/Technical modes compared to the previous version. We've cleared every Technical course except for Customizer, due to Son of Sun HD being ridiculous ;_;
Things we've been noticing in final build:
*Effectors on top-right of screen changed.
*Timing for MAX may be slightly tighter from before.
*Screen feels more responsive & accurate overall.
*Most songs in Technical mode have new banner/disc graphics (HD/MX charts.)
*Holds/drags are now graded based on the initial touch for their whole duration (ex: if you get a Cool when tapping the start of the hold note, rest of the hold will give Cool's instead of Max's.)
*Slight black-screen load time in between stages of Pop mode, wasn't there before.
*I still can't get a score for Closer (Pop stage 1) to save on my card. Fix this bug already =(
I'll ask Cotty on Monday about SVGL, and if he has any new info on network functionality yet. But it sounds like network is gonna wait until Technika has been officially released here in the US (which should be April last I heard.)
