I was at Chinatown Fair today and played me a few rounds, I failed on my final stages(1st time trying Son of Son 2nd time trying Fury, this was on Pop). I want to play more Dj Max, curse you broken PSP CURSE YOU!!!

Also Jeff, when I head back home for the LOOONG holiday I'll try to have a Monday where we can go, I rly wanna play me a ton of Technika and IIDX at 8otB

I can't be bored. I've probably played the game on less than 10 separate occasions. And I'm still working on beating Heartbeat. Goddamn I wanna live closer to a Technika machine.

If anything, I'm bored of any music game that's not Technika now. My friends are like "let's play Hit Machine" and I'm like "waaaah, I wanna play Technika."

Yeah, it's seriously the worse music game ever. But my friends are too lame to buy PSP's and DJ Max, so there's only one to go around (mine), so we play that game. Music games with lag make me want to shoot myself...

isnt it weird how both games have horrible lag issues? they totally dont use the same monitor, werent made by the same people, and definately dont have the same bass lights

Lol the break's technika machine reminds me of the ddr x leds on the side, cause the owner took off the thing that covered the pink lights, its all leds and its blinding.

Shoreline TP is a pretty tricky chart - you may have already figured one or two of these out, but I think the main points for Shoreline are --

- how to "gallop" (0:52)
Take a copy of Stepmania and play So Deep Heavy, one-handed. Now take that hand and try to do those patterns in Shoreline with it; it'll be a bit awkward (because you're doing them with your hand sideways and for the top swipe, even "backwards"), but after trying a couple of things, like alternating hands, I prefer using just two fingers to hit both notes like they're a DDR chart.
Alternatively, you can use the drag glitch (which is what Robo does); or you can try alternating hands yourself.

- how to gallop inbetween other notes (1:08)
Same principle as above: either drag, or use two fingers on your dominant hand, with your extra hand hitting the non-gallop notes. Also, be careful on the chain notes at 1:10 - if you do it improperly, you'll break the hold!

- how to effectively "pretzel" yourself to hit the hold notes at the beginning and the end, especially the end (1:26)
I admittedly still haven't found a consistently effective way to do this.

*I don't know whether or not they fixed this part at 1:23, but the guy who plays this video does much better than I usually see IRL, so it's either he's got something up his sleeve or the machine is patched so that it detects better. Until we figure that out, it's much better to use Fury TP for anything other than MA'ing.
