This feature was designed to counter that.
Ironically, it means that some of us who abused the fuck out of it at SVGL now have, literally, impossibly high scores on our cards from playing the build where that was exploitable

Marketplace Rating: 4 | Something I noticed on today's trip to the Break (and to all that was there today, I'm sorry for my two year old daughter rampaging through the Maximum Tune 3 machines -_-;; :
First off... Dan's right, there's nothing ridiculously new about the build. No new songs, mods, courses, or anything else significant. New labels for HD charts in TM have been added, though... along with simply Key and BGM boost (which work a lot better, IMO, than the boosts in the prior build).
Something I DID notice though off the bat: crisper visuals, the cool/good through the entire hold, as well as (maybe this has been mentioned, but I didn't notice it on the previous build- maybe because I was still trying to get good at the game?) a bonus to your combo if you lift off of a hold or drag note at the right time, a la the Portable series.
I brought my wife in to play, as she's pretty into CE... she REALLY enjoyed it, even if she did mention the grading's way too strict and the difficulty curve is akin to IIDX (btw, she hates IIDX with a passion).
I passed STOP, First Step (First Kiss, In My Heart, I Want You, Come To Me), Miles, and Blythe. Which is pretty impressive to me, anyways. Still got tripped up on Sweet Shining Shooting Star... the last third of that song is VERY intimidating.
Funny little quip: I brought the camera to film my wife and me, of which she got me passing both STOP and Blythe. She then went to the candy crane with my daughter while I played another round.
I ended up playing probably the best round to date - SDG'd Ladymade Star, Perfect Played Hard to Start, one good on Clear Blue Sky-
And the camera was nowhere to be found. Hell, for those two minutes, I swear there was NO one anywhere around to validate my score- no one to share my fist-pumping with. For two minutes, I don't think there was ANYONE in the Break.
Then on the train back, I was fiddling with the camera and accidentally deleted my video of me passing Blythe. XD Still got my wife doing horribly on Play the Future LM, though...

I've never actually noticed that, then again I never knew about the previous bug of hitting holds early either. I'll have to experiment with that a bit next time I play.
Sorry I left 8otb kinda quick today, wasn't planning on staying long. Just wanted to get some food and see who was there, least you were

Also, crisper visuals? Interesting. I remember it being said that Technika ran in 720p, and then ASI came with the news that it was actually in 1080p. I'm a bit curious...but nooooo, it feels we're hella not getting our machine in "very very soon", so that'll have to wait

It seemed to me that these screens run on some odd resolutions. If you look carefully, the top screen seems a little distorted compared with the bottom, and the bottom screen has some jaginess to it, as though It was trying to downgrade the image.
For what it's worth, it is an awesome game, and it's probably the only music game that doesn't need any speed mods (Which is to say it's perfect )

Platinum Crew network will follow soon after the cabs start arriving at locations, they don't want to start it until there's more than 1 US location heh.

Talk about smart. Unlike the release of SuperNOVA 2. Quote:

All B's and a C on SoS, no wonder I always get Son of Sun instead of Sin. I'd say i'm just about done now until network functionality begins, can't wait for the mission mode haha.
