Although I would really love PC to come "soon".. I'm already glad that the game is available for people to play compared to those still waiting for it..

It's really an addiciting game >_> Even my friends who don't play rhythm game starting to like it lol even though they can't even pass Lite mode >_>

Someone needs to stop whining about other people whining. People are gonna bitch, its only natural. I've just plain stopped caring, and won't care anymore, just want that damn raffle to happen.

To the people talking about PC: Guy, you all need to be patient. A few people in this community, including PM studios, knows the REAL reason why we don't have PC(Sadly I do not, but a few people have told me they know whats going on, but won't tell me, someone has also said that the situation is at a point where Platinum Crew should be the least of our worries right now, which scares me even more, but i wont say anything more, because 1, I dont know anything else and 2, I dont wanna get in trouble), and if they say anything about it to the public, not only would they get in trouble, but Pentavision will never give the US Platinum Crew, so until the problem is resolved, we're not getting PC. Hopefully SOON, the problem will be resolved and we will get it. Chris cotty, Mike and the team at PM studios, and pentavision are working hard to resolve all of this.

I knew he would never write me back, and he never did(though I knew i never should have, because now i know he's very busy dealing with the situation at pentavision with PC and all) I thought my above statement made it clear why he didnt write to me. It might be natural, but when it's the only thing that's constantly brought up, it gets annoying to some members (I know I'm not the only one here). Yes, we get it. Everyone want's Platinum Crew. How much longer do people have to whine about it? Even people stating that they don't care about it anymore and are quitting the game are no different than people who ragequit. There's no point in stating "quitting" publicly unless you're trying to gain attention, whether it be from other members or a company.

I've never ONCE whined on Bemanistyle about Platinum Crew so I have no idea what you're referring to.

Yeah duders. Be happy you get to play any at all! I suffered great withdrawal after returning home to Virginia this summer and haven't been able to play a single game of Technika since.

I want Platinum Crew as much as any of you but as others have said, complaining isn't going to make it come any faster. Assuming PM Studios is being lazy or something is outright shortsighted and rude to the people who have worked hard to bring you this game. Chill out.

Meanwhile, I'll continue my futile efforts to get even one arcade out here to pick it up.

As an addendum --

tl;dr: I'm cool with 'late' PlatCrew jokes, but please do realize that DJ Comet's right: we're too fortunate to have access* to the game to begin with.

I agree with DJ Comet. There's no particular point in lamenting about Platinum Crew.

BUT: I can see why people do it, and I see no harm in expressing interest in Platinum Crew, no matter what form it takes. That's actually great -- the fact that people are so hype about the game they want more of it - in the form of PlatCrew. Players in the Western hemisphere see what's going on in Korea, and were given several notices that it would happen, but can't touch it.

Of course, we're envious.

Of course, complaining's inevitable.

And, with that, complaining about complaining is, likewise, inevitable.

I'm down for making jokes about 'late'** PlatCrew, just like how jokes were passed around about DDR and e-AMUSEMENT with that single SuperNOVA2 cab (and now DDR X, even), like what we were doing two pages ago. I didn't even take it as whining, although I can see how it can be construed that way, and I definitely know where DJ Comet and Jamuko's coming from.

Jamuko came to AX and played a couple of games. She was so blown away by it that she requested a PDF of the pocket guide I produced, so that she could go and try and promote it to arcades in her area. I haven't heard from her about that ever since, however, and understandably: there has to be a reason as to why there haven't been any new machines popping up in the US. I'm sure people have noticed that there haven't been any new machines -- wasn't there a huge shipment of them? What happened? Why do we only have information for eighteen machines here in the entirety of the US -- of which thirteen of them are in California?

That's why DJ Comet's saying: people are being spoiled, particularly because of the availability of the machine in their regions -- for the most part, locations are really bunched up. We have Technika all to ourselves, and all we can really do is wait for something to happen, and, perhaps, in the case of players like Jamuko, try to sell arcades on spreading the love.

*hurrrrrrrrr.
** I put quotes around the 'late' in "'late' PlatCrew" because at this point, PlatCrew'll happen when it happens. There's no particular timeframe to it, even if PM Studios gave a timeframe.

Everything Spiritsnare just said. You said it a lot clearer and more articulate than I can even try this late at night. I appreciate it.

I wanted to add, though, what's pissing me off more than anything is the blame being thrown around here. So much hate toward Mike and PM Studios when you KNOW they care about everyone here. It's just a bit shitty.

Play the game for what it is, enjoy that, don't expect anything soon in the mean time, and play other games. Basic common sense.

I don't hate Mike or PM Studios for what is going on right now. I'm fairly certain of the bigger picture right now, and I wish all parties involved could stop being little children and just put out some tangible goods rather than barring each other from doing so. At this current moment I could care less whether we get Plat Crew or if we get eAmuse, I'm just irritated with music games coming out here in America, with the semblance that the companies give 2 shits about the American audience, and then flaking out on delivering a fully polished product. DDR X is still not fully featured yet, neither is Technika, I'm equally mad about both, and really I would take one or the other at this point and be happy.

The only reason I stated my quitting the game "AFTER THIS WEEKEND", is because there is a tourney tomorrow in nyc, and after that I plan on not playing anymore until PC (Also this way familiars at my arcade, e.g. BLU, KIVA, EnemyFC, Odin and plenty others know where I died and went). I don't need attention when we already know PC is pretty much Duke Nukem Forever at this point, I don't care anymore, hence my statement.

And yes, we're spoiled because we always get the machines that are never connected while every other country gets everything, yet we still sit on our collective asses bored by a game we've supported since it was brought to the states.

Let me also state that I didn't intend to incite more QQ, and this is hardly "ragequitting" - I don't think it's unreasonable to stop playing until some new content comes around, as opposed to listening to Oblivion 700 more times. I really do enjoy the game and it pains me to see it getting so stale, so quickly.

Also, I don't think that my arcade will be so hasty in setting up this machine for netplay even if it did come out because I don't think there's anything connected to the internet in there. So I'm pretty much fucked either way.
