Marketplace Rating: 0 | Went to the arcade with my Landscape Card at Tilt, met DJ Fuze, now called Fusean who has a First Kiss Card. I also saw this guy with a card that has a red back, which I'm guessing is Fermion card (which is one of the ones I also wanted). I might buy 3 more next week, hopefully I can get Fermion, Melody, or First Kiss.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Okay, breaking discovery that I picked up from sudocho's video descriptions (thanks!) and then subsequent research on Ruliweb: unlocks are finite.
Take a look at this particular screen from one of sudocho's videos.
Note the presence of the number right below it. It's sorta hard to make out, but it does say "Limit [03] Times".
What I found out:
- When you obtain an unlock, you're given three "credits" to play the chart (or the Challenger Set in the case of)
- One credit is used per attempt of a chart
- Once you use up your credits, you need to complete the mission again to obtain more
- Up to 50 credits per song/course may be stacked (so you can repeat a mission over and over and over again to stockpile credits)
I'm going to try to verify this as much as I can, but I can at least come out with this much.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Are 'all' unlocks finite though? I think it's more the case of the unlockable TP charts are limited play in Pop mode, because they want you to play Technical for those charts instead.
That is a bit annoying though, since i'm planning to run a Technika tournament in August (part of KotC2), and was hoping to have most of the charts available for Pop mode by then.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Yes, as far as I can tell, all unlocks are finite (at least for the time being - tehgenius almost threw me off by linking me to a video of Fate PP and it had me assuming "TPs are the only ones that need to be unlocked!! OH THANK GOD" until I realized Fate PP was a stock PlatCrew song). I'm going to put in a word to Michael Yum soon to attempt to verify whether or not this mechanic is present in the US version.
What you might have to do in the case of the tourney, Dan., is to give people advance notice in order to obtain their song/course credits by the time it hits. Alternatively, you could "prepare" cards by playing and preloading them with the credits you need, but that's a lot of money and time that could be spent on your card.

Marketplace Rating: 4 | I saw one of the videos where shoreline tp got unlocked infinitely. So maybe its just a few songs for now? I mean I did read there were going to be over 50 missions, and the list I saw only had 30. Plus that list didn't have First Kiss Tp unlocked. I would just play though most of the missions before then and unlock everything I needed first. Guess i'll have to see how unlocks play out, at the worst I will only use the PP charts and have the late rounds be Technical mode sets.
Also, I could have sworn I saw someone play Challenger set in a video and it didn't have a limit on it, even though it's a mission unlock.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Not every chart is unlockable; First Kiss TP and Proposed, Flower, Wolf TP are two of them. The rule of thumb is that if you can see rankings for the chart here, it's playable.
Also, I want to say sudocho's using shorthand for that - it may be a given that players get three credits for Shoreline TP from that.
Once again, take this as tentative but likely info; I'm going to seek clarification from Yum in not too long.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Something else i've been wondering regarding the .kr rankings: How can so many of them get Perfect Play/S rank on songs, yet their scores all slightly differ, usually by only a few points?
And as a more extreme example: a S rank on First Kiss PP at 8otB is exactly 45,048. Yet the top score in Korea is 50,870. How is that possible?? Granted I don't know very much about how the song score is calculated, but there's gotta be something we're missing here.

On a more serious note, I had an idea that they have hidden "fine" timing values. Perhaps I'm right on that? And if that's the case, how fine-tuned can you get?
