I believe they meant they've reset the local arcade rankings so new set scores (Cotton Candy, Challenger, Randomizer, etc) will now be showing up on your local machines when it's idle.

so you mean they'll be wiping the local scores so that the global ones would take over and would show up on the machines instead?
