Marketplace Rating: 0 | D: eek. I did not spot that. Well, maybe they took the screenshots from a different machine, or it really is cheap for a reason. At any rate, they have a handy button to talk with the sales representatives, so I can try talking with them about it and seeing if they knew anything. $7500 is probably too good to be true.

Marketplace Rating: 4 | Hey, got to meet Odin for the first time- really awesome player. He PP'd First Love TP, only to fail on Lover TP.
And I beat your score on PDM, Dan... only to get flustered on the last ten notes of SSSS (my left hand was blocking the notes as I was moving across the bottom swipes and I got nervous, losing a ton of life) XD Guess your score's safe for another day.
Actually, I noticed that if you play exceptionally well in Pop Mixing, All Combo-ing/PP'ing your first and getting high grades in your second and third courses, you actually end up with more max points than in Technical Mixing (well, at least in the first two courses, to my knowledge). Dunno if it holds true for all of TM, though.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Haha yeah i'm pretty bad at PDM, wish it was 2x speed.
Me and Pak were also thinking that it's probably faster leveling to just All-combo/PP stuff in Pop. Unless you can S TP stuff all the time, assuming that would give more MAX at the end of the course.
Took a few more videos tonight, so i'll sit down and figure out most of the scoring system mechanics sometime this week... yeah i'm getting that bored waiting for Platinum Crew.

Thanks I'll tell the tech, and if he has any questions I will PM you. ^^ | Well, do know that if your location does not opt in to Platinum Crew, the game will get quite repetitive REALLY fast. Platinum Crew will add so much more replay value to the game that the arcade operator will want to have it. Plus, with so many Technika machines in California (most of which will be on platinum crew to my knowledge) will make it more of a necessity for the operator to want to get platinum crew for their own location to create a want to go there. I can safely say that in a 20 mile radius to where I live there are 4 Technika machines. From what I have seen, all arcades that are WORTH going to, have Technika, or will have it. I would strongly suggest having the tech shoot off an email to customerservice@pm-games.com and inquire on pricing. Because 7500 for an import cabinet is cheap, but you will never be able to use your card on any other machine, not to mention it will be difficult to get Korean cards to use in the machine. The US version is not too much more than the $7500 from my understanding. Not only will you have a LEGIT version of the game, you will have access to many features such as (cards, online access via platinum crew on the machine as well as your home computer [korean platinum crew is viewable at www.platinumcrew.co.kr], save scores, avitars, ect..

Also, before everyone goes "holy crap" at the bevy of screenshots from what Devin's linked to - those, to my knowledge, are all a really early build of the game. Like, first Korean location test build and IRL pictures from said location test early. Regardless, it's definitely an imported version; the location of the machine, as reported, is in Asia.
