Marketplace Rating: 0 | could anyone make a pattern chart of Get Down?
Oh and the Night Stage
by the way, I haven't played Technika yet. I'm hope for a machine in Missouri some where close to where I live (probably be in cape Giradeau, Missouri, what are the chances of that happening?)
Once I get my Technika Card ready/play for the first time, what do you reccomend?
should I go ahead and play Technical Mixing? or play around in Popular Mixing?
how sensitve is the touch screen?

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Pop?! I'd say slow down, start with at least a game of Lite unless you're really confident in your rhythm gaming skills.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | ^ Seriously. There aren't really any easy songs in Stage 3 of Pop, I'd highly recommend doing at least one game in Lite mode when you first start.

Y, Clear Blue Sky (if you know the song), Cherokee, and Fate are all reasonable. Cherokee is a little fast, but Fate and Y are both repetitive patterns. Lite is really too stupid easy for someone who's been studying the game before playing it, IMO. (Although this is coming from a guy who was uber cocky when he first played the game at location testing lol, take it with a grain of salt)

Honestly, I'm still iffy about playing several songs on Stage 3, and if I get some sort of amazing score on the first two stages, Clear Blue Sky is the immediate choice.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | I've seen a number of examples of newbie death for each and every song (PP charts) you cite, particularly at AX, but even at the SVGL location test. Fate: Kills people who are thrown off by the alternating singles/chords. Clear Blue Sky: If the rapid beats don't kill the bar, the chain notes right after usually do. Cherokee: As mentioned before, the speed saps life. Y: I lost to it the first time I played it, on the last note of the song. This sounds pretty positive, until I mention that I shadowed it a lot beforehand
On the other hand, mileage will vary a lot between players; there will be people who instantly click with the game and can pass Sweet Shining Shooting Star on their first or second try, people who think that repeat tap notes involve holding down the first note and tapping the bars (and thus fail First Kiss this way - this literally did happen at AX), and people inbetween, who take a few bites out of Lite before stepping it up and performing admirably at Pop/Tech.
tl;dr I don't think Lite should be underestimated. Yes, it's easy, but sometimes easy is needed.

Marketplace Rating: 4 | I really don't know why Dear My Lady is a 3. During the location tests, SO many people would fail on that song, just because they thought "oh, it's the first song in the second set, it's only 3-star difficulty, can't be THAT bad-"
And then they fail about twenty seconds in. Yeah, you know the part.
The problem is that a lot of the songs in the difficulties, like DJMP's button modes, are pro-rated. A 4 on 4B is not a 4 on 6B. Consequently, a 1-star on Lite is not a 1-star on Pop, nor a 1-star on Tech.
Unless you're ridiculously confident, I'd play a round or two of Lite. If you can pass CBS or Play the Future, move on to Pop. Even I started on Lite the first time around (if only to play To You XD)
