And now the
Platinum Crew site works with Firefox (it didn't work for me before on Firefox, at least - I had to use IETab) and with that, we've got access to rankings and whatnot. Basically, it reveals what the update over here has in store if the International Version update is identical to the Korean one:
-
Online functionality enabled! Allows for Internet ranking and additional Platinum Crew features. Updated and connected machines will have an additional green icon in the corner to denote Internet access.
-
Avatar functionality enabled! Currently unknown whether or not avatars affect gameplay.
- Technical charts now have
alternative art for discs and splash screens a la NM/HD/MX art changing in regular DJ Max.
- Confirmed
new songs and charts in Popular Mode:
-- AI (Pop, Technical)
-- Come to Me (Technical)
-- Electronics (Technical)
-- End of the Moonlight (Pop, Technical)
-- Enemy Storm (Pop, Technical)
-- Fate (Pop, Technical)
-- Fermion (Pop)
-- Flea (Technical)
-- Here in the Moment (Pop)
-- Hexad (Pop, Technical)
-- In My Heart (Technical)
-- I Want You (Technical)
-- Jupiter Driving (Pop, Technical)
-- Ladymade Star (Technical)
-- Love Mode (Technical)
-- Melody (Technical)
-- Para Q (Pop)
-- PDM (Pop, Technical)
-- Play the Future (Technical)
-- Proposed, Flower, Wolf ~ Part 2 (Pop, Technical)
-- Sin (Pop, Technical)
-- Shoreline (Technical)
-- Son of Sun (Technical)
-- The Clear Blue Sky (Technical)
-- To You (Technical)
-- Y (Technical)
(Note that there are still some Technical charts that cannot be played in Pop mode, such as Keys to the World Technical. Also, there are some charts that do not have their rankings up for some odd reason, like Access and White Blue Technical.)

Confirmed New Course: Challenger Set
-- Fate
-- Proposed, Flower, Wolf ~ Part 2
-- Hexad
-- PDM
-- Enemy Storm
-- AI
-- ???
-- Boss Stage: Fermion
-- Extra Boss Stage: End of the Moonlight
Dunno whether or not the new songs will be available to non-cardholders.
I'm curious how they're going to differentiate between Technical charts when a song has more than one (Come to Me has a HD chart in the First Step course and a MX chart in the Core Sound course as an 'extra' boss stage)...
Oh, and Oblivion's still in there.
edit More stuff, thank you Google Translate -
Platinum Mixing mode is divided into four:
- Platinum Mission: Think Mission Mode from DMP2 or Mission Clubs from CE/BS. (Google also gives me the translation "If you clear this item will be given compensation" - huh?

)
- Championship: Compete at the national level (dunno how, though).
- Weekly Course: Every week, there will be a new course to play in competitive ranking.
- Special Pattern updates: New patterns that you didn't have access to are released monthly.
Also, supposedly there are items that you can obtain while online (up to a maximum of 50).
