DJ Max started on PC so the same could be said for the PSP series being a big middle finger to PC releases.

Also, the producers and artists from DJ Max started out on EZ2DJ so it's about time they released a new arcade version of the series -- albeit renamed, rebadged, re-imagined -- especially after the lawsuit a year or two ago.

Anyways, EZ2DJ was always my preference: Visually outstanding and gameplay so freaking hard that it could challenge even the very best IIDX players.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I hope they keep the original announcer from the EZ2DJ series. I *love* hearing "Street 5!" in her voice. Too damn cute...

Well, I never have played the PC versions, so that explains that.
Same with EZ2DJ; not to say I wouldn't like to.

Well the arcade version does look good .,... and also.... EZ2On looks of a better quality than DJ Max PC.... now if they make EZ2On widescreen compatible and have high quality vids and stuff then that will be an unofficial equivalent to DJ Max Technika.

You shouldn't be sad.
The song quality of those preview tracks are same as usual.
Typical DJMax quality.

The preview back is quite decent.

For those who don't want to download the track one by one, here's a rar file for you with all the samples.
DJMAX TECHNIKA Preview.rar

I see way too much complaining about how this is "a clone of Ouendan/EBA". They're trying something new for arcades, which is usually good. If you don't like it, go play FEVER when it comes out, or Portable 3 if it comes out, and leave this one alone. The bitching about touch-screen gameplay is getting old, and we haven't even known about TECHNIKA for all that long.

I'm rather hyped for this game now.

Still has Oblivion, Still has Divine Service, PLAYING THEM IN A NEW WAY HELL YES!

I can only hope they make a CS version for the DS since I doubt many arcades will get this machine.

It looks interesting, that's for sure.

But yeah, I agree that this isn't something to panic over. It's not like they're changing the style of the traditional(PSP) games.

They probably switched up the arcade version so that Konami wouldn't sue.

I like this. Wish it was multitouch, but oh well.

Oh, and hopefully US release, yadda yadda, Konami Can't Sue.

It has two screens (so if ever this thing has console version, it will only go to DS?).

It's hard to determine as to how it will actually be exectued per se (since it's hard to get footage atm).............but I'm guessing it will be good.

Though, it may be a bit away from the DJ MAX that I got used to (PSP versions).

Still, a wait-and-see approach would be something to look at for now.
