DJ Max Trilogy "impure" due to autocorrect? Patch absent.

Am I the only one who think so?

Is there really no patch that removes the autocorrect functionality for -any- version of Trilogy?

No, you're not the only one that thinks so.

1.00 didn't have it (i.e. a clean reinstall, always start TR.exe instead of the usual so it bypasses the launcher/patching), but doesn't work with any Profile Key that's been used with the latest patch.

Can't I format my profile key first using the autolauncher utility and the install 1.00? Also, any major differences between 1.00 and 1.23?

Who cares? If you press the keys you're supposed to then it's not an issue, and good luck keeping your fever chain going if all you do is mash.

Really all it lets you do is cheese those Break missions and they usually suck anyway.

We'll there's mashing and there's pressing random buttons. One does not have to equal the other. I haven't tried it, but I'm pretty sure you can mash the wrong button, still get 100%MAX and retain fever? Also, fever feels a lot less time-based in Trilogy, it's just a matter of how many keys that have passed, and if you get something like 17/20 100%max you'll renew the fever.

If you can press the right number of buttons on anything approaching higher level songs for each instance a note exists on the chart, then all the more power to you. The thing is if the lane you're hitting has a note further up, the game registers that note instead.

On the flipside, due to autocorrect if you so much as add one false note into a stream, you can screw up the entire stream. This is where the 'feature' gets aggravating as hell.

Also Autocorrected notes give 4/5 the score, not that it's much consolation to how poorly thought out the feature is.
