It has been announced by Pentawiz that Clazziquai Edition's official release date is October 24th. Furthermore, reservations for the limited edition PSP bundles open up on October 14th. Kudos to Gail Voyager for the news~~!

Thanks for the info. Didn't realize they were making an actual arcade game for it. Bummer.

At least we'll be playing Black Square and Clazziquai instead. (Hoping for a LE on either or both of these)

I'm debating whether or not Pentawiz'll pull a Prestige Set on Clazziquai. DMP1 got the Premium Giga and Value pack PSP bundles released with DMP1 alongside the Prestige set that time around. Maybe the fact that CE is aimed at casual gamers and not at transferring the already present fanbase will prevent that from happening this time? I hope not, lol.

Well you could play Technika with "osu!".
The only what we we need is just someone who make the Beatmaps.

Hmm not sure about that. Djmax tecknica will be multitouch screen so I don't see how you could play with osu! (one mouse pointer).

And I don't know if Osu! can deal with keysounds (I know that you can setup different sounds for each type of "keys" but I don't think you can do that for all the notechart of the song).

And with the keysounds i dont see really an problem, well it is not perfect but better then noting. Hoewever, this is not the correct thread for that stuff :P

So I love Clazziquai but also love DJ Max Portable. From what I hear, Black Square is the edition targeted to 'veteran' players. I wonder if I'll be disappointed if I get the Black Square, will I miss out on the Clazziquai edition?

What are the exact differences between the two anyways? Black Square have more modes? The two have different song lists?

so its safe to say that dj max portable 3 - DJ Max Portable 2 Message Board for PSP - GameFAQs

"DJMax is coming out in fever, is a mix between portable 1 and 2 with a few new songs and stuff to give the game something new for people who already imported both titles. They are planning on doing a few things like tournaments and stuff with DJMax and since this is the first version outside of Asia I'm definately buying it. Since Fever isn't a Korean release, it won't be a continuation of what the Korean's already have.

Clazziquai isn't going to be Portable 3 at all but more of like what GH:Aerosmith or something like that where it's supposed to be more band focused. Take DJMax, add music from Clazziquai, and you get where I'm going with this.

Black Square will be the true Portable 3 in a sense of what your asking about. Will probably have the most new features, similar artists to what we've already heard before, and possibly a better experience with the features listened in that back teaser from the Classiquai trailer (if you've seen it, you know where it starts)

What has been known through a few sites is that Clazziquai and Black Square are BOTH Link Disc compatable with previous titles (and with each other) but don't expect cross region Link compatability between Fever or any title. Also been noted that in order to participate in the Internet ranking will be some kind of code from a purchased copy of DJMax. Not sure if some people will attempt to guess there way into it, but you should buy the game and support the great products. If your from Europe more than likely your going to need someone to buy a copy for you and ship it to you or something like that since Sony has asked sites to be shut down for offering to ship products to Europe because of the entire problem of compatability between PAL and the other format NTSC?"

The new trailer confirms the following:

*First Kiss from TECHNIKA is in Clazziquai Edition
*There are smaller analog stick notes now
*There is a new mode called "4b FX", which appears to be a combination of 4b and the L/R notes from 8b.
*Linking Black Square to Clazziquai Edition will unlock more difficulties, along with Professional Mode (8b?)

I might just buy all three...

Wonder if there will be enough additions to Fever that will push me to buy it (I already played to death DJ Max2 but not 1!) plus I'll enjoy the DJ Max 1 additions.

Clazzaquai edition... Love the band but hopefully the game will have enough differences to make me buy it as well.

Black Square; a DEFINITE buy.

When is Fever coming to the states again?
