DJ Max Portable (International Version) is completely in English and contains one new song "River Flow" (composed by Planetboom), not found in the original release.
They mustve realized a bunch of americans are playing this game... I wonder if I had anything to do with it...
BTW, the Korean version of this game in 99.5% english, and other than the new song I see no differences. But if you do not own this game, BUY IT NOW.

I'm Korean myself and I don't like what the American government is doing (both to the world and to their own country) but, Jesus fucking Christ. Stop. Now.

Now. | Well in the video (watchable at DJMAX:US on the front page), they also beat up on Osama and Saddam, so Im guessing the video is just about the hate of the current war.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | With the international version being released, i don't understand why
they just won't release it here in the US period. Or do you think it's due
to Beatmania US's poor release here that they hesistate o_O?

To be honest US largely is kinda peculiar to such genre. Whenever I make my friends listen to some of Drummania music, they never forget to say "LOL you are so Azn." Beatmania was one of the first of the genre, and it kinda proved it's not gonna really work in the States... or something.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | It's kinda funny... IIDX and Pop'n, with arguably the best music in the entire music gaming genre, are ignored whereas DDR is/was a huge success.
I think in all countries that play music games, generic pop music is far more popular than trance, miscellaneous -- and in DJ Max's case, awesome Korean tracks - very awesome stuff if you have a decent sound system.
Mostly it's outta word of mouth and telling people to just give it a try. If they can get the courage to play DDR, they can surely play DJ Max in the privacy of their own home . . .
Anyway, I agree with an International version to be released locally, per country. And I don't really like the addition of a single song... Seems kind of a waste of potential.

However, couldn't they have just altered the video itself and kept the song on the game?

Marketplace Rating: 3 | Yeah, I defiinitely have to pick up this game before Thanksgiving. Looks like it could be a fun alternative to IIDX for that weekend (No TGA or PS2 to play the game on). The music I've heard is pretty good. Do you actually play the notes like Beatmania?

Look on Youtube for some gameplay videos if you want.
