why would you want to manual patch? just install 1.20 and thats all you need, unless you're trying to do something

Yes, I do, but I'm pretty sure that I set exceptions for all three Trilogy related executables.

EDIT: Tried turning off firewalls, but that doesn't seem to help, either. Might be a port related issue after all.

After installing 1.20, try making a shortcut for TR.exe with "/connect=113.130.70.14:28002" at the end of the target and run that.

7keys is like 240 play counts and 8k is 420? something like that, someone else should know the accurate ammount

7Key - 200 Playcounts.
8Key - 425 Playcounts.

Alrights. Keep playing songs that you have no disks on and try your best to FC them. You should get at least 1k gold after every song that way. Pts are earned on every level up, don't worry, you'll have enough of 'em. EXP is just like gold, just less.

There's no easier ways to get them, most of the things you do are evenly spread out in terms of per sec rates.

I'd strongly encourage Stage mode as it gives more than freemode. That's about it.

I've found that 6K stage mode gives you a fair amount of gold and exp if you can consistently FC songs. I recommend getting equips with high Auto to help you FC harder songs.

Songs are cheap anyway, so you shouldn't have a problem buying them when you hit the appropriate level

the unlock thing might be wrong...i got Get Out (Hip Noodle mix) not from Clear the mission "Lovextreme" but rather the first one...first steps or w/e it was called. I didn't play other mission cause I suck at anything about 4B for DJ Max series...well i can manage 6B for certain things but nothign on 5B because crap confused me without a beatmania controller
