Closing background applications, especially if there's little available memory, may help speed up the game a little.

So I bought DJ Max Trilogy when it first came out and played it a few times and became too busy because of college. Now that its summer I was planning on playing it today, but apparently DJ Max Trilogy won't load. I get the error No Correct Hardware USB Profile key found. Yes I do own the the game and the USB dongle, and it it plugged in and the green light it lite.

I'm using Windows Vista Basic and when I go to the device manager the USB Granddog USB device seems to be working properly. I'm not sure what to do at the moment to get it working again D:

Try uninstalling the game and the GrandDog driver from Add or Remove Programs, then reinstall them again and patch the game to the latest version (1.23).

Play 200 and 400 songs in Stage Mode and Free Mode for 7K and 8K respectively.

hi, not sure if anybody has posted this problem before. i bought dj max trilogy quite sometime before and was playing it without any major problem. i have not been playing dj max for a couple of months, today i wanted to try it out again but after patching my client to 1.23, the audio becomes a little distorted (which i never had this problem at all).

let me further explain what kind of audio distortion it was: at the main menu when i was scrolling between the different modes (stage, mission, freestyle, options, exit) the sound effect becomes distorted while the background music is still playing normally. i tried to ignore that and went in to play a song, but when i was playing the song, the entire song becomes distorted.

i have no idea why this happened, i even tried to uninstall and reinstall my game client and allow it to patch up to v1.23, but the problem is still there. i tried searching other sites or forums for similar problem but couldnt find any. if there any kind soul out there who knew what was the problem and please tell me how to fix it. thank in advance.

What's your system specs? And if possible, record a short vid about the distortion issue using Fraps.

thanks alot for your help. i was troubleshooting it the entire time and i finally found out what was the problem. I had [total recorder] installed on my pc during this whole time when i wasn't playing DJ max trilogy. i uninstalled it and the audio distortion problem is gone. thank you for your willingness to help none the less =D

Ah I see. If you're looking for a sound recording alternative, you might want to take a look at Audacity.
