You should post on the Technika thread rather than on Trilogy imo, it's a different game.

It's a totally different playstyle compared to the PSP DJMax series but if you are good with the songs, it helps alot xD

Depending on your region, there might be Platinum Crew enabled or not aka Online, having the card allows you to store points and use effectors/icon etc and unlock songs (provided the machine is online).

Take it like a your DJ profile card :O

Alright, so I ordered Dj Max Trilogy off of play-asia.com and I inserted the Install DVD into my CD Driver, but it won't even start the setup. -_- It seems like it's trying to load the setup but never does. It just freezes the window where I click run Setup. I managed to Install GrandDog USB Device by going through the files on the disk, but I can't seem to install the actual game itself. I tried putting the USB before and after I inserted the disk but still no luck. :[

Help pleaaase! :'[

I'm running on 32bit Windows Vista.

ATI Radeon 4670 HD

3 GB Ram

Intel Core i7 CPU 920@ 2.67GHz overclocked to 4.0GHz

**Update**

It works now. I just tried running it as administrator and it started working. HAHAHAH!!

I'M A NOOB FOR SURE LOL!!!!!!

ok guys... just to confirming now...
I just got my new Win 7 Ultimate, and trying DJ Max Trilogy on this newly os (with old hardware)

it's not running at all, first the game installation is really slow (about 30-45 minute) next i update using offline updater, lastly when I play it, the game crash just before the game show any intro, so well... I guess it's time for someone or Pentavision make fix for this

here's my spec:
Pentium 4 3.0 GHZ
1.5 GB DDR1 RAM
7300GT Geforce 256MB (nVidia)
Western Digital 80GB (2X)
Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate

if anyone have same problem with me, well that sucks...

Uh oh. I hope I don't have similar problems when I get my copy in the mail. I love Windows 7 so I hope I wouldn't have to revert back to Vista to play DJMAX Trilogy. I'd be running it on my laptop so I hope my system can handle it.

Man, try installing new drivers etc.

Im playing DJMax Trilogy over a half year on Win7 x64 without Problems (except those 20min lags, which are fixable)

Specs:

Q9550@4Ghz
XFX GTX285 BE
Kingston HyperX 1066 6GB

but my VGA got problem with new update make it unworking...

Tips for passing mental storm?

I was just planning to get some notes and auto to add some fever because I assume it makes it easier for me to get fever.

What do the stats actually do?

tech -> easier judgement
fever -> obvious
auto -> obvious
Def Up -> Life recovery higher

mental storm ? i forgot wad was e problem in dat . isit blink ? if so , lower ur speed so u got extra time to react .

um, with combo only missions, you have 2 choices:

1) combo like mad at the beginning so you can just get it over with

2) slow and steady so you can guarantee you have fever so the blink doesnt make you break[i checked the wiki, that was the one with blink, i think i beat it first try cuz i dont remember it]

i dont know much about your abilitys, but i found i was doing about 60% of my best until i turned down the SFX down to about 45-50% while keeping the music at 100% still. now i can hear the music much better, but the only sfx i really hear during game is the trigger fever noise, but no clapping and other distractions since its just a bit too faint.

Ehm... I remember ppl talking about some kind of ' cheating ' program ages ago.. Is it still around and does it work ?

Can someone link it to me and also explain how to use it because back then I didn't bother with it, as it seemed too complicated...

As things stand now, I'm very bored with DJMax. I'm a casual player and I can't even do 5k, so I'm pretty much stuck with same songs all the time ... And since this game unlocks more songs by doing missions, I'm pretty much screwed in here. Which is why, I need something to help me with ( Although I have no idea what the program is capable of .. if I can't do 8k in the first place, can the program help me at all ? )

majority of e important ones (unlock song , +auto char etc) dun rly have 8k , until e very end .

so try ur best to learn 5 and 6b while u're at it . can fc lvl8 is decent enough alr .

Yeah right... I just said I can't even play 5k and I'm not even interested. I play only casually and I don't wanna practice for weeks to learn something like 5k, especially because I can't.

If this was DJMax Online maybe I could, but with Trilogy it has this stupid system. With 5k I'd use dfghjk, with either g or h being the fifth key. What annoys and disturbs my practice is that I can use even the D key to hit for G or H ..

Anyway, there's a cheating program and I want it, and want to know how to use it. I dont want stupid advice on '' practice to play 5/6k ''.

1 question though.. How the hell do I unlock more difficulties ? My favourite song is Eternal Memory, and it fucking sucks that the hardest it has is '' Hard - Level 4 ''... Also Oblivion is only level 6 too and it doesn't even have hard mode -_-.

What about Eternal Memory ? Is there no way to unlock more difficulties for songs other than those provided when you acquire the song ? I also have alot songs that only have Normal on them, and some which have NM and MX; but no HD ? :S

You don't unlock difficulties. Once you buy the song it comes with them all, but every key mode has different charts so sometimes 4key will have HD and MX and 5-6key wont. Vice versa as well.
