Anyways, for points, especially if you have a low quantity of points, it's gonna be hard to find. Try going up some levels, and getting your points to at least 400. Then, make a search, the offset will be somewhere around -10 or +10. So put:

Search values between:
[389] and [411]
*NOTE: Remember to set "Double Values"

Then, in the left table, look for all the round numbers, double click them so they go to the bottom of the window, and then, go up one level. The number that you see that increased to a number with the same offset as the in-game real value, that's the one you have to change.

Example:

You have 578 points.
Search for values between 567 and 589.
Copy all round values. Write down the offset of each.
Go up a level, so the points increase. Let's say you got +67 points.
Look for the number that went +67, and is still a round number. If the offset was -4, and the number was ingame was 578, then you should now have:

(578+67)-4 = 641 in Cheat engine, 645 ingame.

This is not true. I've tested it. You can safely save the address down after finding the code. It works for me so far.

@kesadian: you can try playing stage mode or mission.

Just wanted to say thanks for the recent discussion about Cheat Engine. I used it to edit my EXP to get to level 71 (from level 65 ^^). Now I have all the songs I want in the game! :D

For what it's worth, the offset I saw was +4 and the address remained constant with every fresh load up of the game.

I saved the address AND wrote it down on paper just in case. Maybe your copy just doesn't want you to cheat so much so it moves things around every time? :( Makes you work for it, y'see~

has anyone been able to edit Rate (hit percentage)? for example: in the mission "go west" i can find 2 float values that represent the shown Rate % ingame, i edit or/and even freeze them, but ingame the rate% flickers between the edited and real one, i even NOP'ed the address that writes to these 2 values, the rate% stays at the edited value ingame, but the result screen still has the real value.

Any idea?

EDIT: ok nvm i kinda found a way around this, but now there's another problem, i passed all 100 missions, got beat maestro and everything, but i can't seem to get the Lord of Combo emblem, i tried everything, but all i unlock is DJ Maniac, i even set it to 9,999,999 but still no lord of combo, what the hell? how do i unlock it? (the memhack way, i don't wanna grind days for the real deal)

Where i had the most fun in DJMAX was playing with other people, and Trilogy does a lackluster job on that compared to the original, not earning the equipment ><

the cheaper way is to try a different layout my keyboard beeps like mad unless i use a certain layout.

I use wer uio.

it beeps when i press e u o. It always beep when e and o are pressed. same goes for sef jil. I haven try number like q2e u8o.. haha don't think it will work either.

Although I don't have Trilogy yet, I do have EZ2ON which in terms of keys are essentially the same. I use asl; or weio for 4k and qweiop for 6k. I guess I would use the good old asefjil; for 7/8k, since all of them can be pressed together without beeping. All of these can be pressed together with the space button too, so that's not a problem.
Oh, and I'm using a cheap Microsoft brand PS/2 keyboard. How bad is it with USB keyboards?
