Marketplace Rating: 2 | Wow, you really think the price is too high? The site said that the controller uses buttons with microswitches, so for basically $140, you could have the limited edition with all the extras, e.g. foot pedal, bag, ear buds, etc. I don't think that's a bad deal at all. I just hope I get the chance to buy it.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | They have a different one that seems much better, but it appears to be a 30 run limited editions (hey, isn't that just like Fever?). It's called SSC and I bet it costs as much as a DJ Dao. At least the 300$ one. It comes in 2 colours, Gold and Silver.
Gold: GAMMAC-----KYungMun Co.,Ltd
Silver: GAMMAC-----KYungMun Co.,Ltd
PS: No I think the DJ Dao is better. But...Does DJ Dao has USB? (it doesn't, right?)
EDIT: I checked around DJ Dao's site (particularily this page: DJdao BEMANI ASC-Platinum Edition Evolution-Default Config) and it says it's compatible with both PS2 and PC. How come?

And answering the question above about Dao being compatible with PC, it is, via an adaptor which comes with the controller.

And answering the question above about Dao being compatible with PC, it is, via an adaptor which comes with the controller. | Well of course it is, but it should work fine. What would I use the 8th key for? fever? Oh right, better find some nice passable way to do that. But heck, the DJ Dao controller is probably a billion times better than the official DJMAX one, like it is a few hundred times better than the official IIDX controller.
So...I can probably just map it to one of the keys that aren't being used.
This controller isn't worth it.

I'm not too good with 6K mode (Lv 8 or so) so I play mostly on 4K and it sucks butt that some only have a normal setting.
And about the controller, while i'd like to buy it I just can't justify $270 odd australian bucks for something that my keyboard does just as good if not better. I'll save my money for when/if another DJ Max comes out

The lack of charts is reallly annoying, especially for oblivion and other "Good" songs
(it sounded like a lot at first when it said "over 1000 note charts")
and it turns out, TR only has 119 playable songs, not "over" 120.
(still hopes on the music remix event that they did, since they asked for the keysounds to the event winners) but the next update is for the muse-on controller rofl....
(I rather buy a expensive USB gaming keyboard than spending over twice as much on a single controller)

Marketplace Rating: 0 | 1.23 Patch released... English release note here DJMAX Trilogy 1.23 Patch notes
Added keyboard control feature to the UI.
Arrow keys (left/right) can be used in the title screen to select game modes.
Main screen keyboard control:
1 - toggle ALL / FAVORITE
2 - sort by TITLE
3 - sort by LEVEL
4-8 - select key mode (4-8 keys) (in Free Mode and Network)
Up/down keys - select music
Left/right keys - change difficulty
Enter / F5 - Start
F3, F4 - Speed modifier up/down (modifiers slot 1)
F6 - Fader (slot 2)
F7 - Random (slot 3)
F8 - Chaos (slot 4)
* Pressing alphabet key gives focus to the song with corresponding first letter.
- Game Screen:
ESC: Pause
Up/down - select menu (when paused)
Enter: select (when paused)
Keyboard settings have been separated:
- You can now change configurations for 4/5/6/7/8 key modes. UI added for Muse-On controller. (Haven't tried if this works with ANY joypads)
- Please see Muse-On controller manual for how to set up.
- Added control scheme setting for Muse-On controller.
Possible to see the opponent's user information during Network (in-game and Battle rooms)
Extra stage still appears when all songs are unlocked (before the patch, Extra stage is always the song that you haven't unlocked yet, which means no Extra Stage if all songs are unlocked.)
Improved duplicated key input for 5 and 7 key modes (the middle key in 5/7keys works similar to Portable - e.g., for SDF JKL, holding down F then hitting J will still trigger as key press) - FINALLY!
DefUp stat effect has been increased:
- Fever bar will reduce at a slower rate.
Fever stat effect nerfed:
- Fever stat causes the fever gauge to fill up faster, but now also reduces at a faster rate.
Phew, there you go guys, all translated (works in brackets probably my own words). I haven't tried the patch yet, but I plan to pull out my BMUS controller & ps2-usb adapter for this - hopefully this patch adds native joypad support.
