Default Is DJMAX Trilogy Still Worth Getting?

When I went to a mall, someone gave me a tip that a PC Gaming store there sold DJMAX Trilogy once. That was a big YAY for me because i thought it can only be bought at Playasia or similar sites (i dont have a credit card unfortunately).

I'm waiting for that store to restock and hopefully sell DJMAX Trilogy again, but one thing is keeping me from buying it; the fact that FE left Pentavision and DJMAX Trilogy is kinda dead.

Despite all of that, is it still worth buying? or should i buy the portables or wait for a new DJMAX PC instead, if ever that will come?

a few of us r still playing it . so it'll be good if u can join e party over here .

on solo mode its still pretty fun .

my only gripe is e occasional freezes ... (unless ur com is pretty powerful on e graphics side) and e ridiculous (lvl50+ difficulty in o2jam) kind of notecharts .

dude the game is great. i liked the trilogy exclusive songs like ventilator (gif MV is the win). you better grab a copy of it. although depending on your keyboard, some keys will not respond if you press them together.

btw where is that store located?

Absolutely... why would you buy three psp games instead of just one?

I just don't understand all the people who say TR is not worth buying because it's dead, wasn't TR meant to be a console game just like all the portable editions, does that mean that Djmax portable 1, 2, Clazziquai and BS are all dead too, no one ever said that the CZ , BS songs are going to be added here, this was meant to have Djmax online, portable 1, 2 songs only.....If I'm not wrong...

Being in Europe I couldn't get DJMP or DJMP2 through Playasia, and the only other importer I know was out of stock, so this was ideal for me, as the only way to play a bunch of songs I wouldn't otherwise be able to play.

I think it's a great package, even without the promise of continuing support, it comes with 119 unlockable songs on disk, 100 missions to try to get through, and an online community that still plays.

Given what i paid for BS and Clazziquai it's a great deal.

It's totally worth it, even just for solo play. There are plenty of Trilogy exclusives, including a handful of new songs and most of the remixes on the DJMP2 OST and songs from the old Online mode that haven't been revived on the Portables yet. You should definitely get it if you have the opportunity.
It also has the largest amount of songs in a single game, so it's a great deal if you don't mind the autocorrect found in BS.

The only thing I don't like is the level grinding, because songs are unlocked every 10 levels in bunches.

It's about 2 1/2 DJMAX Portable games' worth of songs for the price of 1 game (unless you count ridonkulous $15 shipping), so I decided why the hell not, order it.

That, and ever since both DJMAX Online and O2Jam Malaysian version shut down (no, I'm not playing Krazy Rain even though I signed up for the CBT), I've been itching to play an O2Jam-like game again.

Does anyone actually know if an International version is in the works? I mean I was also thinking of getting it even if it doesn't have too much of online community. Although if there's an intl version released which has more support for europe/US, I could wait for that one.

Otherwise, I'll be getting this after I get ez2on to work.

AFAIK, Trilogy has international support.

btw, thanks for the replies. so, i'll wait till the shop restocks their DJMAX Trilogy supplies and i'll try to grab one. the only reason why i would be getting Trilogy is Ladymade Star. (i wish it also had Proposed Flower Wolf series, but wishful thinking is wishful thinking)

btw again, the shop that was said to sell DJMAX Trilogy is Data Blitz, Shangri-La Mall, Mandaluyong City.
