Keyboard and Keys.

So I've been reading about keyboards being suggested for the game

I don't want to order a keyboard online, so I'm somewhat limited to what I have in my local areas.

However I wanted to ask is, what is the max number buttons you even need to press at once?

Although it would be convenient to have a keyboard that can register all 8 Buttons needed, I'm wondering how often and how many buttons will usually show up at the same time.

Oh and, how is the G15 2nd Gen as a keyboard?

It's a bit pricey but is it really worth it? (I only need a keyboard for DJ Max really.)

And I read that the G15 only registers 6 at most D;

Das Keyboard will handle 12 simultaneous keys, but I'm somewhat doubting that you want to spend $130 on a keyboard.

More than likely you'll never need a keyboard that will do more than 6 or 7 keys. O2Jam was a heavy demand on 7k's and I've been up and down the entire road of the DJMax spectrum and I don't think you'll see more than 4 or 5 keys at a time. Try to be safe with 8 keys, but a good keyboard for Trilogy will probably be safe with 7 or stretching 6 depending on how often you wish to play 7K or 8K.

I have a USB keyboard that works ok for 4, not so well on 5 rolls but I can't tell me or the keyboard since I hate rolls (or jacks if your a IIDX player, trying to keep terms straight) and 6K's is doable if I slide the keys further apart then if I lay it out for 7/8, not to mention I found out it couldn't do r+u+spacebar but it could do w+e+r+u+i+o So don't forget to check which combinations you can do while activating fever if you like to hit fever and a note at the same time.

If it's just a keyboard for DJMAX, I'd actually suggest getting cheap Samsung ones, they're cheap, and mostly the default key config works absolutely fine.

Last time, best key combination is ASEF JIL;
No problem with pressing them all at once.
