Didn't know where to put this put this seemed like the best place.

Anyone get O2Jam to work?
All I get is a black screen with music and I slightly see the game when I alt-tab out of the screen.

Well, that highly depends on WHICH O2JAM you mean. There are a lot of places hosting it, including private ones.
And...I guess this is sort of the wrong forum, but bemanistyle never had a specific forum for this.
Best advice is always to reinstall/redownload. If it doesn't work, it's probably your PC hardware.

the only survivng o2jam as of now is the Korea one. the last o2jam server outside Korea, PH, just shut down last sept. 30.

and i'm very sure that's korea is what he's talking about because i've also played o2jam KR and encountered the same problem (game shutting down after a few minutes or while alt-tabbing).

i still haven't found the solution for that and i think it's just o2jam KR being fags... ):

No reply regarding the Itl/MY version songs being up there either. I took the trouble to get my mail translated to Korean, too.

I have been working in a new international englisH/spanish o2jam server
his name is O2DJ

We are by the moment in BETA Phase, it's private
but if you pm you can play

We are looking for music composers and graphic designers for interface
Client is already translated in english and spanish

Eh, you can claim 'not dead' as loud as you want till you're blue in the face, but private servers will always still be private servers. Turkeyslam's server was up since slightly before the original Itl/MY service went under.

Right now there are quite a few different private servers up all with their own 'original songs' (most of which are un-keysounded LOL LETS JUST PUT LOTS OF NOTES AND FREEZES THAT DON'T EVEN MAKE SENSE vs. THE ACTUAL MUSICAL CONTENT) all with overlapping ojnlists. Which is the official one? (hint: Sorry, not yours, either)

Dead is still dead.

edit: I have another idea. Considering how many times O2Jam has been necro'ed lets just call it undead. And call it a day.

o2jam is dead outside of korea and even there its pretty dead

Turkeyslam is the only server thats keeping it alive since he took over mine.

i don't want to correct you milkchan but you are completly wrong

there are many o2jam servers, maybe not so evolved in software as PH
but they are really good

you can choose:

O2V3 (haven't played, but afaik, website integration is ok)
AngelJam (Good song selection, mainly english)
O2DJ (mainly for spanish ppl and ez2dj/max songs)

just google and will find more information
