Is there a difference from the machine at CF and the times i've played at the break? I don't really keep up with these things so I just wanna see if there's a reason I should head down there to play lol.

I don't think theirs any differences, their both the retail build. The only difference would be scores

But you damn well know people are still gonna play it there.

Much like the people who play SuperNOVA at CF as well.

Just met Dan. and Pakachu today in CF. lol They broke the scores man.
Just think how low level the DMT players in CF are. (including me)

Talked to the guy there- says he's all for it when PC actually launches. I have no idea HOW they're going to do it exactly, but here's for some fingers crossed.

Also... dear god, you destroyed nearly every new song there. Well, at least I got First Kiss and I Want You. XD

Not a lot of people play past lite mode. It's more like an "aw, that was fun, maybe I'll play it again some other time", rather than a hardcore crowd. Hope that really turns around when CF gets their cards.

Cards really do help to foster the enjoyment of the game, even offline.

Case in point: our (SVGL's) records show that at least some 60-odd (if not more) people have registered their cards on our machine, and we have a good chunk of regulars who, I don't think, we've seen before, who come solely to play Technika. It's pretty awesome.

I might be coming back to SVGL this Wednesday (the 1st) somewhere between 2 and 6 PM, though it is still tentative. I'm too addicted to this game already.

Also, does anyone here know about the actual internet set-up process for arcades? I'm currently nudging my arcade's technician to buy this game for us, though he doesn't want to get it until he learns more about the fee we have to pay for internet play and such.

The week of July 4-11 will probably be my first opportunity to finally start out in the Technika scene. I will be about 45 minutes away from Gateway on vacation! It's a location test (Hard to Start! but missing a lot of things I guess...) so I won't be using a card (I don't have one yet anyway) but I'm so glad I can finally play it! It's hard following this thread without actually getting to play. D:

Also I'm hoping that I will be able to go to 8 on the Break later this summer too, but a 3 hour roundtrip is long for just Technika.
