speaking of Technika and Philippines, a friend of mine received this reply email from a Timezone rep. regarding IIDX machine upgrades.

i dunno what would i feel after reading this (letter means moar technika, less IIDX), but it seems Timezone would be focusing more on bringing more technika machines in our country. that said, i think a second (or more) technika machine/s will hit the shores anytime soon (probably this month).

I just wanted to let NY players know that I did speak to Dan, the owner of Catskill Laser Tag, and he did confirm that Technika was coming there.

He believes that the machine is being refurbished at this time; as soon as he gets it, it's being put out for play. So I'll post an update when that happens.

As far as Platinum Crew...CLT does not currently have proper broadband Internet, so it's questionable. But if there is some way to make it possible, it will be done. Does anyone know how much bandwidth it requires?

DJMax TECHNIKA officially landing UK at Funland,London. 1 Pound per play, no Net at moment, may have Platinum Crew Card for sale, price unkonw.(cause I did see someone having display picture on ranking list, but stuff said NO when I ask them, how strange)

if the owner of the ranking is OLEDB or "Middlemode" (written in Korean), then that means that the Game Con staff tested the machine.

Make sure you take all OLEDB scores because that guy can suck a dick.

Lol that would be my card, bought it from HK, it works on the machine,keeps my scores, levels up my ranking, but UK plat wont work with it, if it ever lands here that is

I heard from someone else in this thread that there would be IC cards for sale soon though, keep your hopes up!

Working on it Ive already knocked him off the top spot in the total scores of popular mode, now to beat all his scores

Did he have a pretty good LandScape PP score for you too? That was the one song it took me a while to beat his score on when I was starting to play.

I went back to the Troc today, still couldn't get any information about Platinum Crew cards. I'm going to try to get there once a week, and I'll post here if there are any developments.

Anybody have any suggestions as what to pick for my final song? I keep failing out. I failed Cherokee in about five seconds flat, and messed up Jupiter Driving again.

At least I got to play Ladymade Star.

I concur. Fate may LOOK complicated, but the BPM is slow for that song, so it's very manageable (not to mention, it's easy to follow)

Clear Blue Sky is easy also for being straightforward (though it does help if you know what the song sounds like).
