When I go there early, like when it first opens, i have the machine all to myself for a good 5 or 6 hours. So during the day is a good time to be there, because it's completely empty. It's not as packed as the west coast machines though, or in korea. In fact, 8OTB is the least crowded technika location out of all of them, hands down. The action at the break really only picks up a little after 7 or 8 pm. The only time I've seen the machine completely packed with people was for Kings of the Coast. Other than this, the breaks Technika machine is empty 90% of the time.

CTF's $1.50 per game is kinda ridiculous and I want to try Beatmania out so I have to make an effort to get my ass over to 8otB and try it out, with the convenience of cheaper Technika plays.

NOT AT ALL! We're lucky to even get to play it. There are some people in this country that are dying to play it, and cant, cause either they dont have an arcade, or their arcade operators wont get one. This is a very unique music game experience, and it will never get boring, even if I play every song more than once. The music is so engaging, that it's impossible to get boring, even after repeated plays. I mean, what other arcade game completely revolves the game-play around a touch screen and provides kick-ass music to boot? none. Anyone who says Technika is boring needs to look at the bigger picture, because your lucky to even get to play it. Hey Equinox1, mb I'l see you at the break sometime, I go every saturday and monday when I can.

The entire experience is pretty awesome, as is the music. I love the game a lot.
As for the break, I'm going to see if I can make it on Sat next week since I have several parties to attend to this weekend and going over there would be an all day affair.

I think all I really need is a break though, or plat crew. I bet if I give it a few weeks I'll be drooling all over it again.

Not only that, but you end up enjoying the game more and not getting bored of it as easily when you take breaks.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | I was at AI tonight and saw the game played 23 times. 20 of those were from me. Since I retired my Platinum sCrew card, I get name entry on every Technical completion. Many of the low-mid scores on the courses (Heartbeat, Core, Custmizer etc.) were from the "beginner" people I saw a long time ago. Hopefully the machine still gets play from these people.
Then again, it was a Thursday so whatever?
