The IIDX screen? It's not crappy at all, weird green line thing aside. It'd be great if he'd upgrade pirated DistorteD to pirated Empress (like the rest of the US), but I don't know of anyone who sells kits.

The new Technika hard drives apparently shipped, so hopefully we have retail ver @ 8otB soon.

. If you have a question about Technika and when or where it might be coming, this guy is your man.

Although, he is very busy. I really wanted to ask about other big places like Dave and Busters, Time Out, Showplace, Funstation, etc. but he was working on other things at the time. Didn't want to disturb him too much.

I talked with Chris at a distributor open house in Chicagoland. At that point, it looked like Brunswick and the higher ups at Six Flags were interested in the game. No clue on if any of that actually followed through, but I'd guess it's a pretty good shot at the various Brunswick Zones.

Sadly, the Technika machine at Gateway 26 in Wildwood, NJ is now $1 per play. It's still a location test build and is not hooked up to the internet (I have a card and tried it). That didn't stop me from playing like crazy this weekend, although I suck at this game but I love it. My big accomplishment so far is passing Whiteblue and Creator on Popular mode, lol.

I know for certain that Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, NJ) will be getting a cabinet in the near future, but it may only be temporary for the summer depending on how well it does. Other parks may follow if it gets a lot of play.

the technika at rimini (italy) has been removed because windows started bitching about some hardware shit. since the cab was on trial the arcade owner didn't even tried to fix it

at least i managed to clear ST before it died

That's great to hear, especially since Chris literally grabbed me while I was talking with the Incredible Technologies reps to demo it for the six flags rep.

Oh yeah, I managed to clear WhiteBlue pp during that open house. Took some work, but I got it. I thought Blythe pp was a bit harder.

Thanks for that, it took me quite a few tries to get past it. I always compare myself to the people who are really good at these games, so that's where the "I suck at this game" comment comes from. I'm still trying to pass Miles on on Popular mode, but all those connect the dots type notes always kill me. Also, anything with a high BPM is really tough for me, but I'm working on it.

The machine down Wildwood is generating a lot of attention, so many comments of how cool the game is and a lot of people playing. This game is a winner for any arcade owner.

I went to Camelto Golfland tonight. Bought my CBS card from a suave, peronsable employee.

Got to enter my username but the timer messed up the last letter so I'm LUNRAUR instead of LUNRAURA.

50 tokens did not last very long @ 4tokes/play but it's a brand spanking new machine so I'm not complaining. Even though its a forty mile drive this is gonna be my weekly hangout where I'll blow at least $20 on just Technika.

Michael Yum or Chris Cotty happens to be reading this, I applaud the relatively smooth release of this game. I beg ya to do everything in your power to score a deal with Dave & Busters like they did with Andamiro and Pump It Up. Santa Anita/Arcadia D&B is total Asialand and would likely draw a big enough crowd.

Hats off to Camelot!!!

I wish there were more ppl addicted like you are here haha. I'd prolly drive 40 miles everyweekend to play technika if I had to also lol. I've been playing technika everyday ever since it made it's comeback :3
