Marketplace Rating: 0 | I can't get the game to launch, I successfully registered an account, installed every plugin they prompted me to, the game itself and the launcher(s), still, I get this popup:
Sometimes I get a small popup with a tiny animal-like thing on the left and a short message, but it's just "?? ??? ??????."
even though, I got all language packs etc. installed.
Any solution to this? | |

Interesting that Mgame's stuff is still servicable. Wonder how that works with Popstage splitting off their own way.
Regarding O2Malaysia songs, the contracts with the composers were legally terminated when e-Games Malaysia ceased operations due to how they were worded... kinda a bummer that the only representation I know of for all that hard work is now on private servers.
Unless you're saying O2Korea is using them? :S

Ah, I see. Interesting... I wonder how Sanxion7/kil/DJ Potatoe/Epilogue would feel about that, and more importantly if there's anyone over there I can talk to about getting all of us some pocket money.
It'd be amazing to see Astral represented somewhere that isn't a private server.

please verify your identity (through phone, credit card, the date when that KSSN was created, etc)
this is what stops most foreign players

It'd be amazing to see Astral represented somewhere that isn't a private server. | yeah. that's what i'm talking about. o2jam MY songs were added on o2jam KR, but the artists, notecharters were discredited/removed from the song info and was replaced with a "V/A". i know Ino is very vigilant about his charts being used by private servers, but now that the offical servers used them without his permission (maybe?) and artists were removed from the song info, let's see what will happen next.
ps: AFAIK, DM Ashura is also an active forumer here. he might wanna check this out too.
ps2: i just based from the song list on the website, but i haven't tried the songs yet ingame to see if the artist names are "clone stamped" on the loading screen to confirm it.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | DMA's songs weren't represented (yet). I'll probably try to get ahold of some old contacts within O2KR and ask what's up, and then see what develops from there.
It's kinda odd that they'd remove the information when it's clearly visible on the ojn art files though. Unless they went edit-crazy on those as well, in which case I'd have nothing to say.
edit: Spoke too soon. GO! is in that bunch as well.

I want to see if they edited the title screens too. If so then that's total bullshit. | |

I'd appreciate it!^^
EDIT: Nevermind, peat and me are playing it now, we managed to find an under 18 kssn, which had one account, I found the pw out by pure coincidence on the first try, so I created 2 accounts for us.

Thanks for the bump by the way.
Also, since this is our main alternative to EZ2ON after it closes, I hope to find some people around. I can only hope the community is nicer too... | Quote:

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Let me clarify: I thought I got the registration to work, nothing more. It seems I did not get it to really work, and now thanks to a certain member here who I don't want to get spammed with requests (I'll handle those) I DID get it to work. Seeing as just now the launcher got up, I think the game works too now.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Ok, I need help with getting KSSNs for Popstage. I have gathered 3539 unique KSSNs in the past several hours, and googling/yahooing further doesn't give me more than a dozen new KSSNs (most of the lists out there are identical and even contain duplicates within the same list).
Out of these 3539 KSSNs, only 195 of them belong to Koreans born after 1990, and ALL of them have at least one account registered with MGame. The closest I got was this KSSN: (deleted)...which someone registered an account with on September 12, 2009.
Anyway, if anyone has a huge KSSN list, or know of keywords I should use when searching, please let me know via PM. PM me as well if anyone needs my list of 3539 KSSNs to register on other game websites.
EDIT: Never mind, I found a working KSSN already.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | thanks for this account,
I guess I was the first person to use it cause it asked me for nickname and avatar, I put dokuroo as nickname and pick the first avatar.
so I finally got to play this game, and I really liked it, I did not played a lot of music, but I liked the few I played.
what I really liked is that the whole game is so cute (^_^)
it uses a lot of 3d graphics, but unlike krazyrain, the game is not slow.
hope that I'll be able to register a personal account someday
Edit : Thanks to LatecomerX, I finally have my own account, :happy!!: A big thank you for everything, Late, you really are a nice person, I love you.

The game design is kiddish and girly and the 3D dancing models are kinda horrible. But what I liked about the game is that they brought back some of my favourite O2Jam songs and added in quite a number of new ones that are pretty great.
It's really a combination of O2Jam (5K/7K), Audition (dancing models at the background for godknows reasons), and Guitar Hero (converging note pane). There's something like DJMax's Fever system as well, and surprisingly, elements from MapleStory (F1-F4 shortcuts to make smiley faces) can be found in the game. So it's like...playing a 5-in-1 game. (In my country, we would call it a Rojak.)
Some unique points of the game are (please correct me if I'm wrong):
- Allows players to choose the difficulty (5 difficulties to choose from) of the song (selected by the room host). That means one could be playing on the easiest mode while the others in the same room on the hardest. Does it mean the newbie would definitely lose out because of a huge gap in score? Read on...
- Players don't really compete against each other - the game encourages cohesion among players by rewarding bonus game currency according to the performance of all the players in the game room.
And no, you don't have to "buy" Speed x2 or Random/Mirror effectors because it's all there. I'm not too sure if there are songs to be unlocked by leveling up, though I could browse through some pretty good songs in the game as a level 1 player. So I'm guessing that they're depending on the avatars and equipments for revenues (think Audition/MapleStory).
I didn't explore much today (I spent almost my whole of today digging for KSSNs), but I'm sure there's lot more about the game to be discovered.
Again, if anyone's interested, a demo account (dokuroo/dokuroo) is available, and the game client can be downloaded directly via this URL: http://popstage.nefficient.co.kr/pop...stagesetup.exe
You'll need to log in and run the game via Internet Explorer, as with most Korean MMOGs (I can't get their Firefox plugin to work).
