If you're talking about lining out the PSP games, RemoteJoyLite has a built-in utility for video capture. The only problem with RJL is that you'll have to find some way to provide sound input into your computer, though.

If you're talking about Trilogy/EZ2ON/Krazy Rain/Popstage, I can't help you there...

On the other hand, what are your computer's specs? If it can't record with Camtasia (which I've found to be pretty smooth while recording), then I'm not even sure whether or not your computer is powerful enough to take lineout videos to begin with...?

And as mentioned before, RemoteJoyLite for PSP-games. To record the sound, just stick in an audio-cable (like that one for your monitor) to psp and the other side to the mic-in-slot (or audio-in) in your pc. Then you can use any recording-software to record your sound.

To combine your video and sound source, you need a program like "virtualdub".

Indeed, use fraps for PC-Games (-> You need a fast hdd to record it in good quality)

If fraps can't get you a good capture FPS 99% of the time the bottleneck has nothing to do with software used - it's hardware (usually HDD and in some cases CPU/RAM)
