Trilogy wishful thinking

Just a wishful thinking about Trilogy thread. If it needs to be moved mods go ahead. If you notice my rhyme, you'll hear it all the time, but now it's time to stop.

I would absolutely kill for Trilogy expansions; cough up a few dollars and get the songs from Clazziquai and Black Square ported over. Songs I really miss are The Clear Blue Sky, In My Heart, Heart of With, I Want You, Fury, Colour of Sorrow, Shoreline, Proposed Flower Wolf Part 1 & 2, Dark Envy and First Kiss. As well as practically anything that Forte Escape has ever made. That and Ruby Tuesday has to make a lot more songs, the few things he has made I quite like.

Another little gameplay addition I would like to see added is split screen battles, since I have a couple of USB keyboards I could plug both keyboards and map the keys differently so that two people could go at it at the same time without any of the clutter.

If other people want to add their own suggestions or maybe discuss mine; feel free to!

I would simply like a new PC game with the Clazziquai / Metro Project songs and ideally some more DJMO revivals. I'd buy them as DLC for the current game too but having a new one with upgraded graphics and interface would be cooler (it'd pretty much be necessary for the videos anyway). I have Clazziquai and Black Square but it's just not anywhere near as fun playing on PSP and Technika gets boring with no PlatCrew.

I would seriously pay like full IIDX price (e.g. ~$80) for a new PC game.

i noticed this when playing TR, about 70% of music is from Forte Escape, including My Jealousy (remixed by FE)

maybe the reason FE out from dj max is because the next TR not featuring him lol

I actually feel really bad for only paying $50 US for my copy of Trilogy. I feel like I need to mail over an envelope filled with money to the Pentavision offices.

um.. where to start.

1) the old Miles SC and AI SC please [5k at least]

2) Give discs in network mode

3) Expand the network play to actually explain what megane maniac is [why it isnt is beyond me]

4) Add more items; preferably gears since i was kind of disappointed how many gears there were

5) make all items work 2/5 as well in network play so its not blatently obvious when someone with godly gear beats someone naked

6) make everything unlock at 5000 plays w/ the DJ ACE emblem [this might actually exist, im not at 5000 plays yet but im not holding my breath]

edit:

7)also enable the [delete] key to turn off the other person playing like in djmax online. i would *LOVE* to have this feature again since i get easily distracted

8) give a collection mode like in DJMP2 with the discs, as well as a total playcount offline/online/total instead of making us do educated guesses ^-^

I mentioned this before, but there's two things that really needs to happen if the PC portion of the franchise is to move forward:

1) Engine upgrade. I realize that full 720p FMV playing alongside a music game sound engine will make most PCs choke, but a compromise can be met somewhere. The worst part of Trilogy honestly is seeing the Your Own Miracle and Ask the Wind (Live) MVs castrated to 'fit' into the engine.

2) Many CE/BS songs being made longer. 2 minutes is fine - 1:30 is just a tad too short for a PC music game.

Those two things are no small undertakings. Just rendering/maintaining yet another setting for the MVs (right now there's PSP and Technika versions) at an acceptable filesize/quality compromise for 80-odd tracks, not to mention extending the MVs for songs that are lengthened is nothing to sneeze at.

That's just in terms of having content, of course. Feature-wise, I don't really care - as long as there's a new release I'd scoop it up.

ill add a couple more:

1) let it save the combo in freestyle! i have to leave trilogy in freemode for about 3 days straight to get the 1 million combo thing

2) make the MX's like the old djmax online ones; you mash, you lose.

3) make the MVs able to shuffle and play back to back [how cool would that be, not having to always press play?]

hell, if you wanna go down that road i also vote for throwing back the color coated "average level played" thing that was in djmax online also, viewable both network and offline ^-^

If I'm correct, I believe I read somewhere that Trilogy was directed by Forte Escape.

What I'd like in terms of expansion is pretty much most of the songs they didnt put in from online,1,2.

FE was the producer/head honcho for Trilogy - it even has him plastered all over the unlockable media.

I would like more songs, also from Clazziquai, Black Square, and Technika. Also, I'd like the ability to turn on/off the auto correct feature.

Sadly, I don't think much else is going to go on with Trilogy due to the fact that the game is not really going to make much money for Pentavision. This is my own perception of things and maybe I'm wrong, maybe Trilogy is being ignored due to all the work on Technika (and also the fact that FE left the project).

People have already mentioned more songs, especially songs from Clazziquai and Black Square. Would be nice if those songs get extended however...

Songs from DJ Max online that didn't make it to Trilogy would be awesome as well. Same goes with songs from DJ Max Portable 2 that didn't make it as well (Forte Escape could have put in "Another Day" in Trilogy. Also, Plastic Method would be awesome to play on the keyboard.

I definitely want that auto-correct feature to be made as an option, that way my own skills don't get molested by that.

Oh, and not to mention, more charts for Oblivion, am I right?

He left the company. So he won't be working on any more projects with Pentavision.
