Rock Band 1 Compatible with Rock Revolution Drums?

I picked up the Rock Revolution PS3 bundle last night and was hoping to pick up Rock Band, but didn't want to blow $20 on something that wouldn't work. I have read that they work with RB2, but I can't find anything about weather or not they work with RB1, can anybody confirm if they do or not?

I just shelled out the money and bought RB2... and now I am having more problems. I know for a fact that the drums are supposed to work, and they all do, except for the green head. What is supposed to be the green head confirms things, and before the song starts, I can hit the drum and it is recognized, but when the notes start coming, most of them don't register at all. So basically, the game registers it when there aren't notes, but doesn't when there are? And it is only on that head... Anybody got some advice?

Alright, I did some testing with the kit, and I would guess this is a design flaw and not just me. I went into freestyle mode in RB2 and started hitting the drums as normal, and when I pound the green drum with some force like I normally do, it occasionally triggers the yellow which I assume is due to vibrations. Does anybody know anything that could reduce this without me having to hit it less?

hmm i also have the RRev set, i'll try to use it with RB1
I have tested:
100% in rock band 2
100% 4pads in GH:WT (i dont know why you need their set to get the 5th drum)
