GameStop has posted the box art for the game & also the back of the box, which is shown below:



Some songs are already on the CS versions, but there's some new tracks as well (Kryptonite, Miss Murder, Would, What's My Age Again?, & ABC). If these new songs will stay PSP-exclusive or be future DLC for the CS versions is unknown at the moment.

& don't worry. This isn't a prank. It was announced yesterday at JoyStiq.

Yes, you download the movie via PSN w/ a voucher that has a code on it. I don't understand why they couldn't just have the UMD instead of having to download it. Guess they wanted people to make the most of the 4GB memory stick.

Interesting. I was reading IGN's preview & noticed the following songs have been announced as new to Rock Band & exclusive to the PSP version:

"Gasoline" - Audioslave
"Show Me The Way" - Black Tide
"Less Talk More Rokk" - Freezepop (hmm, if this is on, I wonder if it'll make it on GH: Smash Hits now)
"Rock Your Socks" - Tenacious D

& thanks to whoever fixed the typo in the thread title.

Edit: The songs that are new to the Rock Band series (i.e ABC, the 4 songs mentioned above) WILL be on the CS Rock Band games as downloadable songs. It'll just be a while, as they want the songs to remain PSP-exclusive for some time.

Man, I saw a screenshot & it looks like DJ Max's 4 Button mode (showing that the game is played w/ Left, Up, Triangle, & Circle), but w/ Rock Band....

Also, there'll be 10 songs you can download from the PSN store on release day, but it hasn't been announced which songs they'll be. They'll also be added on a "semi-regular" basis (my guess is they'll take the songs already on the CS & just PSP-ize them every 1 or 2 weeks).

Hey, since we've discovered songs that'll be in music games thanks to the ESRB in the past, I decided to do some searching to see if they secretly revealed some new tracks for the game. Here's the section of the ESRB description that I'm working it:

Some song lyrics contain sexual innuendo (e.g., "We started making out and she took off her pants" and "She spent her twenties between the sheets") and references to alcohol (e.g., "Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk?") and violence (e.g., " Oh, trust in my, self-righteous suicide").

EDIT: "She spent her twenties between the sheets" = "Lump" by Presidents of the USA?

"Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk?" = "My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit?

"Oh, trust in my, self-righteous suicide" = "Chop Suey" by System of a Down?

Anyone wanna confirm this?

I checked & "She spent her twenties between the sheets" is indeed "Lump" & "Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk" is "My Own Worst Enemy".
