Default Bemani arcade upgrade requirements

Hello i've recently become interested in trying to obtain information on upgrading a drummania 10th mix cabinet to a higher upgrade and realized there wasnt any information like that readily available so i was wondering if we could have a thread on all bemani arcade machines and what mixes/styles are needed to upgrade what.

As in which mixes need new equipment other than the necessary upgrade disc.

Well, anything above PF 10th involved a hardware change. For instance, starting from GFDM V1, Konami switched to PS2 hardware. Then from GFDM V4 onwards, BemaniPC was used. Typically, when a hardware system conversion is involved, contents from the previous hardware system are just replaced.

Anyways, I hope that helps
