Play-Asia doesn't have the release date as December 18th anymore. Now it just says Not yet published or released. It has said preparing order for me for about three days now, so I hope they ship it soon because my JPS2 and IIDX Distorted is in the same shipment and I would like to have it in time for Christmas since the JPS2 is my present from my mom.

It's pretty hot, all the songs flow together track after track really well. The booklet has a nice history of the Bemani series, and what dates all the arcades came out on.

Do they flow together like a Nonstop Megamix CD? & can we see pics of the CDs & booklet?

I'm still disapointed with the GF/DM listing. They didn't have Children's Sketchbook & Model FT2....Or ANY Model DD song for that matter (except Day Dream). Not even a Classic Party song....

I might be able to convince my mom to let me buy the collection when she buys me GF/DM V3 for Christmas (despite it's gonna come about a week after, just like LAST YEAR with IIDX Happy Sky & Jump! Ultimate Stars....). Plus, I still have that coupon for $12 off orders $100 or more, so yay if it works out.

Well, what do ya know? Along w/ my Xmas gift of GF/DM V3, my mom let me buy the Soundtrack! When I get it, I might post pics of the booklet & stuff. Of course, this might not even be next week. Perhaps next Saturday at the least....

I got the CDs yesterday. I've listened to all but the Pop'n Music collection CD. If anyone (or on DDR Freak) wants pics of everything (I'll even post pics of all the pages of the booklet), then I will.

Here's my opinion on each CD so far:

Disk 1 (beatmania/IIDX):

-Since I've hardly heard any beatmania songs (original, not IIDX), I'm not gonna into the "what I wanted" stuff. Aside from 2 songs, it's all good ("LOVE D RIVE" by D-Crew is awesome)

-You'd think V of all songs would be on it, but nope.

-Why is Ballad For You on there? & ya only putted SigSig from IIDX Happy Sky, but not Xepher? & just Z-I-V from DistorteD (though I'm glad)?

-Only 1 CS song, & it's PHOTONGENIC. Meh. Would've liked something from DistorteD's CS list *coughGobeyond!!cough*

-Would've perfered Wonder Bullfighter over Freezing atmosphere (same artist)

-Monkey Dance & Cradle? Why?

-Gold Rush. Awesome.

-Only 35 songs? Could've added atleast 3 more songs...

Disk 2 (DDR):

-Almost half the songs are CS (19 out of 40).

-No B4U. Huh...Also no original Trip Machine despite 2 remixes are on there.

-Nothing from 4th Mix AC. Only Groove, which was 1st on the CS version of 4th Mix.

-Hottest Party songs aren't that great. Plus only Volcano from SN2...

Disk 3 (Pop'n Music):

-Um......Wow. I'm sorry, but there's just not much to mention here. The only songs I really liked were the ones that appeared on GF/DM, IIDX, &/or DDR (well, those & cobalt, the Asaki song, My Gifts, Ubertreffen, & the Pop'n 15 song)

-Votum stellarum is very long for a short song (about 2:40), so I'm not sure if it's long or not. Can someone check?

Disk 4 (Guitar Freaks/Drummania):

-SO MANY GREAT SONGS MISSING. I mean, where's a Classic Party song? Model DD series (we did get Day Dream, so yay)? & WTF isn't Model FT2 (despite Fairy Tales still made it, which is awesome) & Children's Sketchbook on there?! Despite those, almost every song is awesome (aside from like 4, 1 being explained later)

-Only 1 song from V2 (over there). Seems hardly anyone cares about V2...

-The ONLY long song is on this CD. & it's SWEET ILLUSION. Konami, Konami, Konami...*shakes head & facepalm*...Do you know how many better long songs you could've used? I mean, there's both Riff Riff songs, Classic Party Triathlon & Revival, Akai Suzu, Used To Rock & Roll....I could go on.

-Despite you show GF/DM V4 (like on the main cover & on the pages full of Bemani posters), there's nothing from it. Perhaps Jake In The Box could've been on?

Disk 5 (Other series):

-Mahou no Tobira was from Pop'n STAGE? & Shiritori & Vitalize, both of which are on GF/DM MS Silver & Gold (in that order) originated from Keyboardmania? & Wall Street down-sizer, also on GF/DM, originated from Mambo A Go Go? Huh. Neat to know that.

-Just one ParaParaParadise song? Could've added atleast 1 or 2 more....

-ee'mall is awesome, w/ 10 songs. & seeing as every ee'mall song I've played (i.e Pop'n 9 & GF/DM MP Silver & Gold & V3) are on there, sweet. You've got almost HALF the original ee'mall songs (there's 12 & you get 5), plus 1/4 from the 2nd Avenue, awesome. Wait.....AITHON?! Where are ya? You could've replaced 1/6billionth, the only one I didn't like!

-I see why Toy's March didn't last long after hearing that...Though since there was only 34 songs, the least amount of songs on any of the disks, I felt like they could've added atleast 3 more.

So, yeah, that's my review.

They probably don't want to destroy the sales potential for soundtracks they still sell.

There aren't any KO's from Yaroyo besides the one they included. The rest of the songlist is composed of licenses and crossovers.

Same deal with Toy's March. That one song is the only KO, and it's the theme song to Toy's March. The rest are licenses and crossovers (including a crossover from a redemption game called Fantastic Fever 2).

Ah, I see. I hardly know anything about those other Bemani games (Hell, I didn't even know Toy's March or Dance86.4 existed until I got the CDs). I'm familiar w/ KBM, Dance ManiaX (seeing as all the songs on the CD are on DDR or GF/DM (Mad Blast)), Pop'n Stage, & ee'mall.

Ah, yes. Pics. You're in luck, cuz I have a 2-hour delay for school today. Yesterday, it was cancelled, but I had to work around, so I didn't have time...Taking them RIGHT NOW. I'd like to apologize in advance if the pic quality isn't so good. If I absolutly feel like it (though only if ya want to), I'll also take pics of every page in the booklet.

Holy Sh!t, that didn't take so long!

Here's the booklet (left) & the case for the 1st 4 CDs (think PlayStation Final Fantasy game)
]

Box to hold it all in & the 5th CD case (it's like those cheap ones that you buy at Staples or something to hold a burnt CD)

The CDs themselves, in order

Now hold on. Why is it that we got 2 GOLD songs, 3 from IIDX RED, & then 3 from GF/DM V & V3? V3's OST just came out not too long ago...

Seeing the CD's a while ago, I never knew why they put disc 3 and disc 5 in similar colors. Another primary color could have done the job for either, maybe a green?
