While I was in tokyo I came across these headphones. StarChild:Eva Heaphones
I was tempted to buy them since they looked like IIDX style but there is a decent price premium on them since they're Evangelion branded. ($100 over the price of normal Audio Technica ATH-700Pros which are $120) However I have seen them go for $160ish but I didn't order in time.

Audio Technica are some high quality stuff. I own ATH-EM model headphones (since I am a Persona dweeb) and they have really good sound quality.
Though I would recommend buying outside of a branded item, all you're paying for with those EVA headphones is the EVA name =\ | |

They are extremely comfortable for ear-supported headphones, easily the best 70 bucks I've spent for non-ear covering headphones. | |

I have very similar headphones [to the ones in the first post] (of course, not as bad ass looking as those) and the quality is top notch. I usually leave them on for a few hours and when I take them off, my hearing is all messed up, of course my right ear has never been good.. | |

Wow, so I assume us bemani fans do have similar tastes since many people have told me it looks butt ugly when I show it to them lol.
Getting it for $200 is easy if you know someone in japan.
Personally I still think $80 is too much a premium to pay for the color change. I ended getting some higher end audio technica audiophile headphones instead. Audio-Technica - ATH-A700 : Closed-back Dynamic Headphones
The ones matt posted are a lot more expensive in japan (15,000 yen)and were featured in persona 3.

Personally I didn't like them too much and prefer in-ear ones. Those felt like putting speakers next to your ears w/ no sound isolation, but they do look pretty xylish  .
But yeah those eva headphones are pretty win in my opinion and I slap myself for not ordering them while I was in japan (They were $160 at one point). I never assumed they were going to sell out w/ that price but I was wrong.
Audio technica is a japanese company that makes quality audio products but are relatively unknown in the states (besides their noise canceling set)
on a side note, you can get the one Kors K used in beatnation summit Amazon.com: AUDIO TECHNICA Stereo Headphone ATH-PRO5MS: Electronics 
and get all DJ troopers 
they also have a mil style for the ATH-PRO700 which is discontinued  audio-technicaF»•iî•ñ ATH-PRO700 MS
