Making a Metal DDR pad

Hey, i just have like the same question many people may ask. HOW do you make a metal pad? and WHERE can i find a site with a walkthrough? after all my poor searching efforts, i couldn't find anything on this site, or maybe i was just looking in the wrong places. if anyone could help, i'd really appreciate it.
