Modded PS2 Question

So I am hoping to receive Swap Magic 3.6 and a Slide Card in the mail soon, and I was just curious about something:

It says on the description of Swap Magic that it lets you play backup discs, I'm assuming this means I just copy the disc image file (.iso or whatever) to my computer then burn it to a blank disc and do my thing w/ swap magic and the slide card (correct me on this if I'm wrong please -- but on to the real question)

If I were to make a backup copy of a Japanese NTSC game, would that work too, or am I just out of luck?

Throw away the Slide Card unless you want to throw away your PS2

Yes, you can play NTSC, its european PAL games that will load, but will flicker on standard TV sets
