Oh, this thread is back? Cool
Meh. I tried to enjoy it, and after a few plays just grew tired of it. There's nothing wrong with being really simple or easy to ace...ever consider that maybe the designers were
going for that?...or being like some other game which I've never seen in any arcade. It's just way, way too
limited. Every time I talk about Guitar Hero, I mention that the one killing point was the incredibly limited variety of music. Same problem here. Too much classic, too much Disney (sheesh,
how old is Cartoon Network now??), too much tepid "punk". And of course, there are the inevitable tiny handful that get played to death up, down, and sideways. (Ye gods, if I never hear Cha Cha Queen again...)
If it had something
cool...a Fuuma Tenku, a Boogie Train '03, a Futari Wa Love Love, a Circle Coaster, a Sea Anemones, heck, even Tribe Groove would've been nice...I could grow to like it. As it is, it's just forgettable.
Oh yeah, and it doesn't help that it's prone to breakdowns. The one in Fun Factory is always acting it up, and I never noticed anyone being particularly violent with it. (Jungle Fun is just a little too rich for my blood.)
