Total Tokens: 57.00 Donate Tokens | U.S. Bemani dream concert As we all know, Konami hosts events in Japan periodically where Bemani artists play a live show with their works from the games. There have been several concerts for pop'n music, 2 invite only IIDX "Secret Live" events and just recently the beatnation Summit occured featuring artists and special guests from the beatnation records label.
We've had a few artists from Bemani titles grace the US with their presence and perform. DJ CHUCKY and NO+CHIN played at ACen (GUHROOVY came to hang out), kors k has done bowlmanifest 2 years in a row and Ryu* is planning to make it next year. What about other artists though? What about a huge U.S. bemani concert event in the U.S. sponsored by Konami?
The games are getting much more popular in the states now, and they've been taking risks like testing IIDX GOLD in the U.S., and bringing e-amusement over to our shows. Why not have a huge event out here? It may only be a pipe dream, but even then which artists would you like to see play in the U.S.? How far/where would you travel for an event like this in the states? What would your dream event be like? Even if it may never happen we can always dream right?

The dream event would sell beatnation merchandise. T-shirts, wrist bands, caps, penlights, bags -- heck, CDs would be good.
In terms of artists, they would have to be: kors k, Ryu☆, L.E.D., SOTA, DJ YOSHITAKA, wac, TERRA, TOMOSUKE, Akira Yamaoka + riewo (Rislim -remix- has to be performed at 2AM on that fateful midsummers night.), good-cool, Sana and Hoshino Kanako.
I haven't gotten as far as the songlist yet, but yeah. You get the idea.

Any of those would be absolutely amazing. I wouldn't travel to the East coast for it, but if it was at Bemanifest or something I would pay double -- or, if it were on the West coast, I would drive there in a heartbeat.

Total Tokens: 57.00 Donate Tokens | What about locations and stuff? I had a talk with Malcolm earlier about this topic, and we were talking about how alot of the bigger japanese bands that have played in the states have all done so at anime conventions around the country. DJ CHUCKY, M-PROJECT and NO+CHIN even played ACen this past year. I personally think having their own event anywhere in the country would be perfect. As to not take away from the actual event itself with so much else going on. What about you guys? What kind of atmosphere would work for you?

I'm pretty surprised no one has mentioned Naoki yet. I'd like to see him in a concert with his sexyness
Other than that, his music, of course. *has been listening to TRIP MACHINE PhoeniX 323 times as of this time being since he acquired the poor quality mp3*
Also, Mutsuhiko Izumi, DJ YOSHITAKA, A/I, Michael a la mode, Jin Senbonmatsu, Des-ROW and wac are who I'd like to see, and Keiichi Nabeshima, whoever he is. (a new guy perhaps?)
