I think it would make sense to have an event like this pretty well centered in the continental US, somewhere like Kansas City or even St Louis. Putting it somewhere on either coast just excludes way too many people from the other side of the country.

It doesn't really seem worth it to me to go 10+ hours of driving someplace unless I can make the trip last for a few days. There have been several groups among Bemanistyle users who have been talking about making bands together, both to cover Bemani music and to play other songs. I think the idea of a festival covering several days with participation from both members of the community and professional Konami artists would be the best thing. There are a lot of people who would like to show the rest of the community what they do besides hitting buttons. I think that an event like Bemanifest but with more organized activities and less general arcade time would be best.

Like everyone else, I do dream of seeing my fave Bemani artists here in the US (specifically, LA). As for the American cities, here are the ones I immediately have in mind:

As for the acts, I am having a hard time... oh, what the heck. I just decided to split the songs by their solo and band gigs, as I group the artists (and by association and extension, vocalists) either where they started their Bemani careers, have the most songs in, or the music game they are most likely associated with.
